In the spirit of hashtag , I offered a different perspective at a unique hashtag celebration with Sushumna Kriya Yogis at hashtag .
It wasn't your typical "women can do anything men can do" speech. If women do not have the opportunity achieve their fullest potential - the way to fix it cannot be one day of celebration, one day of acknowledging some of them! This is actually worsening the situation further.
So I shared a concept that's been brewing in my mind and that which I live by. This idea has the potential to impact not just individuals, but the world as a whole. Curious? Read the full article and let me know what you think!

What a fun session of games and reflection we had, with the IndianOil Adani Ventures (formerly known as Indian Oiltanking) team at their Mumbai office. Their energy and excitement was infectious, and this was an event to remember!

plugH experts Tejal Vanikar Sharma and Aditi Mathur brought in a whole new twist to ‘Leadership Lessons with the Panchatantra’ to the IOAV team, and everyone was hooked from minute 1!

With a team activity to set the energy for the session, the experts then introduced Panchatantra as a lens for Leadership at the workplace to the IOAV employees, after which the group discussed a story and reflected on it. The session ended, as does every plugH session, with a refection exercise.

Employees reflected on their experience of the team activities and the powerful parallel between their lived experience and the story. They talked about team dynamics, communication styles, strategy, trust and power of single focus & mindfulness.

Thank you Nazia Fawzan Shaikh & Jigar Goda for helping us bring this session to the employees, and for your support in prioritizing the wellbeing of every IOAV employee.

Here's to many more powerful, reflective & fun activities like these!

July 18 to August 16, 2023 is marked as the Adhikmas (additional month) as per the Indian calendar. This Adhikmas is Shravan thus making it a year of two Shravan months. Why is this so, and what is its significance? Most of us know that during Adhikmas there are no dates set aside for weddings and other social celebrations. It is a month which has been marked for prayers, meditation, and other spiritual pursuits.

Why is this extra month appearing in the lunar calendar that we follow, and what is the meaning behind the dos and don’ts of this time?

Log in to hear Dr Raksha C. Vadhaiya of Adeeyoga Academy, expert, Indian philosophy, expound on the significance of the Adhikmas and immerse yourself in the wisdom of our scriptures.

The recently concluded COP27 Summit addressed the intersection between climate action and mental health at a panel discussion titled - “Climate Action and Psychology: Using Psychological Science and Practice to Promote Mental Health” at the WHO Health Pavilion.

The key highlights stated the need for more evidence to connect climate distress, advocacy and action to mental wellbeing.
Although, the panel seemed convinced that individuals would feel a sense of agency by contributing to climate action, in turn helping them cope with climate change.
