If I had to pick just one thing to carry through life, it’d be my trusty yoga mat. It’s hard to imagine a day when I don’t dedicate at least an hour to my practice. Well, it all makes sense since I am a yoga instructor by profession! I love what I do not just because it helps me stay fit and fine but also because my profession has allowed me to meet so many women in my age group who face chronic physical issues that I can relate to, whether it’s constant fatigue, hormonal imbalance, mood swings, or the dreading sight of the fluctuating weighing scale! Practicing yoga has helped me and my clients to a huge extent. But I am still on the hunt for things that I can do off the mat to navigate through these second innings more easily.
