My enduring relationship with curriculum started as a student and later continued as an educator. As a high school Economics teacher I enacted the curriculum for 17 years to students of Grades 11 and 12. The curriculum was released at the beginning of each academic year as a fairly detailed document which included a rationale, objectives, breakup of marks and time allotted to the different topics, a list of prescribed textbooks and a suggested question paper design. While jotting down this reflection, certain elements of the curriculum stand out..........
