The video shows the 6-year-old boy from Melli, south Sikkim pleading with the adults to not load the birds in the van. He is seen pointing towards the chickens and wailing. Spreading some joy 🥳 A red panda (Ailurus fulgens) was rescued from the Yargyap-Chu river in Mechukha sub-division of the Shi-Yomi district of Arunachal Pradesh by Mechukha town residents Tony Mosing and Takar Kotin Mosu. The two of them spotted the rare animal clinging to a log in the river. They rescued the red panda and handed it over to the Mechukha Ranga Forest Officer Tanga Murtem. . . RFO Tanga Murtem decided to release the animal into its natural habitat. A team including the RFO, Mechuka CO Honjon Perme, DFR Marbom Sora, and others transported the red panda to a spot 15 kms from the last outpost and released the animal into its natural habitat . .
