Indoco Thunderbolts make a remarkable debut in IPCL

Indoco Thunderbolts made a remarkable debut in the Indian Pharma Cricket League, showcasing immense competitive spirit and outstanding performance at the Kalina Mumbai University on March 23 and 24, 2024.

After losing the first match by a narrow margin to a strong opponent – IPCA, Indoco Thunderbolts bounced back by winning the next two matches against Rubicon Research (by 86 runs) and PINNACLE Life Sciences (by 7 wickets).

Mr. Pranav Nikam thundered the grounds with his powerhouse performance by scoring 59 runs out of just 17 balls and took 2 wickets against Rubicon Research. He was awarded the 'Man of the Match'.

Mr. Harshad Sawant in his outstanding bowling spell, took 3 wickets for just 6 runs in 1.4 overs and won the 'Man of the Match' award against PINNACLE Life Sciences.

Indoco Thunderbolts broke numerous records of the tournament including being the first team to achieve a score of 120 and the fastest 50, among others.

Our CFO, Mr. Pramod Ghorpade & Vice President – Analytical, Dr. Sandeep Zokande were felicitated by the organisers during the inaugural ceremony. Their presence further boosted the morale of the team.

Warren Remedies Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Indoco Remedies, commenced commercial production of APIs and Intermediates at its greenfield manufacturing facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, on March 24, 2024.

The first invoice was generated online by the team at Aurangabad plant in the presence of our Managing Director, Ms. Aditi Kare Panandikar, and the Senior Management Team.

This milestone reinforces our commitment to meeting the demands of our customers and further strengthens our capabilities in delivering high-quality Intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).

‘Catch Them Young' initiative at Indoco'

Indoco's 'Catch Them Young' initiative is gaining momentum under the guidance of Mr. Basavaraj Kolkur, the dynamic GM-HR at our manufacturing location in Goa. In a bid to nurture budding talents, he has taken on the noble task of enlightening BBA third-year students at SS Dempo College of Commerce & Economics, Goa, on the complex world of Labour Laws.

Over the course of two months, Mr. Kolkur dedicated 30 hours to imparting invaluable knowledge and insights on both the theoretical and practical fronts of Labour Laws. His teaching style, passion and extensive experience have earned him accolades from the college authorities.

The 'Catch Them Young' initiative is to engage individuals in certain activities or teachings at an early age. The concept revolves around the idea that early exposure and education can have a lasting impact on a person's development and future choices. The initiative underscores the proactive and strategic efforts to engage, educate and guide young individuals, recognizing the immense potential for positive outcomes when interventions are made during their formative years. Additionally, this also helps in reverse mentoring, highlighting the opportunity for learning from the younger generation, often referred to as Gen Z or Generation Alpha.

We celebrated a special milestone today with the commercial product launch of Warren Remedies Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Indoco Remedies, at Head Office at the hands of our Respected Chairman, Mr. Suresh G Kare, in the presence of our MD, Ms. Aditi Kare Panandikar, Jt. MD, Mr. Sundeep V Bambolkar and the Senior Management team.

The first invoices were generated and flashed online from Bhiwandi, Zirakhpur and Bangalore.

WRPL will cater to Oral Care products from its greenfield manufacturing facility located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. This positions us with the essential capabilities and a competitive edge to effectively address the requirements of the Oral Care market.
