अवघ्या १७व्या वर्षी लग्न, शिक्षण ९वी यत्तेपर्यंत.सासर, सातारा जिल्ह्यातील म्हसवड गांवी. शेजाऱ्यांशी बोलायला संकोच वाटणारी, आज ठिकठिकाणी, परदेशी सुद्धा अनेक महिलांना स्वावलंबनाचे धडे देत आहे.खरोखर वनिता पिसे यांची कथा प्रेरणादायी आहे!

म्हसवडमधील एका शेतकऱ्याशी लग्न झाल्यामुळे एका आठवड्यात वनिताला कुक्कुटपालनात सहभाग घेणे क्रमप्राप्त झाले. तिने यापूर्वी कधीही पोल्ट्री शेडमध्ये प्रवेश केला नव्हता. पण चिकाटीने तिने सर्व समजावून घेतले आणि मनापासून काम करू लागली. मात्र १९९७ मध्ये बर्ड फ्लूच्या प्रादुर्भावामुळे पोल्ट्री व्यवसाय बंद करावा लागला आणि कुटुंबावर ५५०००रुपये कर्ज राहिले. हताश न होता लगेच इतर लोकांच्या शेतात रोजगारावर काम करू लागली. यावेळी तिला ग्रामीण महिलांसाठी काम करणाऱ्या माणदेशी बँकेची माहिती झाली. तिने त्यांच्याकडे जाऊन म्हशीसाठी कर्ज मिळविले.
वनिताच्या सुदैवाने,आठवडाभरात म्हशीने वासराला जन्म दिला.तिने दूध विकण्यास सुरुवात केली आणि सहा महिन्यांत कर्जाची परतफेड करता आली. आत्मविश्वास वाढला आणि दुसरे १५००० रुपये कर्ज घेऊन पेपर कप तयार करण्यासाठी मशीन विकत घेतले.

The team’s remarkable performance, characterized by exceptional teamwork and skill, secured them the First position in the U/14 Girls category. This outstanding achievement not only brought them the prestigious title but also granted them qualification for the District level competition.

आठवणीतली दिवाळी ….

एव्हाना सहामाही परीक्षा संपून सुट्टी सुरु झालेली असायची. दसर्यापासूनच थंडी पडायची आणि दिवाळी येईपर्यंत ती वाढत जायची.दिवसभर खेळून हाथ-पाय थंडीने उकलायचे.किल्ला गारूच्या मातीने भगवा करून टाकायचा. त्यावरचे हळीव चांगलेच वाढायचे. सलाईनच्या कारंज्यात दिवसभर पाणी भरत बसायचे. वाऱ्याने मावळे पडायचे. चिखल सुकून बुरुंजाला भेगा पडायच्या. दिवस जायचा ‘गड’ राखण्यात !!
फटाक्यांची भलीमोठी यादी कधीच तयार असायची. मग मातीचा गल्ला फोडला जायचा. त्यात सापडायची इकडून तिकडून उचललेली आठ-आणे रुपयाची नाणी. फटाके आणायला खारीचा वाटा. फटक्याच्या दुकानात अधाश्यासारख व्हायचं. लवंगी, लक्ष्मी, सुतळी, कनकावळे, भुईनुळे, चक्र, फुलझडी,नागगोळी, टिकल्या आणि पिस्तुल. पिशवी गच्च भरायची.
