Aashima is an idea to create a link between artisan and new woman entrepreneurs where the middle man is eliminated to enhance profitability of the business for artisans as well budding entrepreneur. While the technology plays a big role, the business will grow from word of mouth and trust.

Swarnika, who has founded this group started the entrepreneurship when she realized that her entrepreneur skills are not getting utilized within the walls of house. But, she could not stepped out as she has been recently blessed with a baby girl. Thinking deep she realized that in era of social media and instant messenger like wats app, she is not restricted digitally. The same goes to the women living near and far as well. Starting from WhatsApp and connecting with various artisan, whom she knew while working as social worker with NGOs. She wanted to do something for these artisans (mostly women) who are keeping their folk alive and earning not only their bread and butter but also self respect and independence. With internet penetrating deep and making everyone reachable, the artisan specially women artisan were also not too far to reach. Thus “ AASHIMA BOUTIQUE” provide this vital link and remove multi layers of middle man and hence offers the most competitive rate for local art and craft.
