Topic: MYSTERIES IN THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF CHRIST

Intro: GOD is a GOD of purpose, HE created each and everyone with a specific or particular purpose.
Examples from the Scripture:
Moses was created to bring the Israelite out of their bo***ge(in the land of Egypt), while HE created Joshua to take them to their Promise Land(Canaan Land).
GOD created Ester to save the Jews from the destruction coming upon them.
Paul was created to take the Gospel to the Gentiles.

We must learn to discover what GOD created us for.
Jesus was brought into the earth to save the world from darkness and bring us into His Light.

Things Man Lost In The Garden (The Garden Of Eden):
1. Fellowship with GOD
2. Man was lost in HIS Presence
3. GOD’s Blessings. Genesis 1:28
4 Dominion. Genesis 1:28

Purpose Of Jesus’ Death And His Resurrection In GOD’s Agenda:
1. To restore everything we’ve lost.

Things Jesus Went Through:
1. Suffering
2. Hung on the cross
3. Shedding of His Blood
4. Died on the cross
5. He was in a tomb for three days
6. He resurrected

Let’s look at what the things He went through brought to the world.

1. Suffering:
i. His suffering brought the restoration of peace. Isaiah 11:9, Eden was a place of peace, nothing hurt in there.
Jesus’ suffering brought peace not His death, let’s note that.
John 15:27. Isaiah 53:5. I Peter 5:7. Matthew 11:28
ii. His suffering also brought healing.

2. Hung on the cross:
This brought restoration of GOD’s blessings. Galatians 3:13. Revelation 5:12

3. Shedding of His Blood:
i. This brought healing
ii. This brought forgiveness of sin. How? In the Old Testament, blood from sacrifice was required for the forgiveness of sin, but the in the New Testament JESUS’ blood washed away all our sins.
iii. Shedding of His Blood also brought us back into the Kingdom of GOD. Colossians 1:13. 2 Peter 1:18
iv. The shedding of His Blood brought Total Salvation.
Note that Jesus’ Blood was shedded seven times.
i. Through HIS sweat. Luke 22:44
ii. Through HIS body. Matthew 27:26
iii. Through the crown of thorn. Matthew 27:29
iv. Through His right hand after been nailed to the cross
v. Through His left hand after been nailed to the cross
vi. Through HIS leg on the cross
vii. Through His side on the cross. John 19:34
Seven means PERFECTION.

Let’s go back to where we are coming from
4. His death on the cross.
i. This brought restoration of access into GOD’s Presence. The temple curtain tore at the moment he died on the cross. Matthew 27:51

5. He was in the tomb for three days.
i. This brought Freedom from the bo***ge of darkness. He went to hell and release us when He died. John 16:33

6. His Resurrection.
i. This brought ETERNAL LIFE. He who has this LIFE has escaped from the second death.
ii. This gives our Faith Life. I Corinthians 15:14
iii. Victory over death.
When we die physically, we don’t have to worry where we go, Jesus is already waiting on the other side for us.

All we have to do is to give ourselves to HIM completely.

Jesus’ death and resurrection will not be in vain in our life in Jesus Name. A big AMEN.

The Release Of Destiny:

Introduction: We serve a GOD that turns our mess to Message and our bad to good. Jesus asked his disciples to loose the c**t and tell any one who challenges them that the Lord is in need of it.

In the kingdom of GOD, many are not maximizing their lives according to the purpose they are created. There are believers who can’t function the way which they are to function.
Mark 11:12
The c**t was tied, what does it mean to be tied?:
- It means vision without fulfillment
- It means a life without achievement
- it connotes no direction
Being tied means answers to prayers that have been delayed. It also means blessings without joy.
A donkey tied is like a man talented and gifted but there is no place for him to function.

David was first ordained a King but there was no kingdom.

What your destiny carries for manifestation is better than your size. 1 John 4:4

The reaction of your enemy against you showed that you have a great destiny.
Jesus said three words when he asked the c**t to be loosed, which are: Loose it, Brung it, and I will use it
(GOD used Rehab the harlot, Ruth a childless widow and Mary Magdalene a once demon possessed.)

What happened to the c**t:
- Freedom from bindage Mark 11:8
- He was clothed with honor
- His location was changed. (Until you get your right location, you will not be given your right allocation.)
- He walked in the path of glory
- He became a center of attraction
- He was celebrated.
