ckward School situated in the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram city. Apart from the innate writing talents of our budding writers, the magazine has the interaction of our kids with the former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the inspiring article of the former fighter pilot Mr.MP Anil Kumar along with the English enriching articles of English language experts and Teachers. The title of the magazine ‘THE ENGLISH RIDER’ itself suggests that the ride of the English language will never end. The front cover, very beautifully designed by Shri.Shibulal adds more meaning to it. The Magazine was released by the respected Shri. Biju Prabhakar IAS (Director of Public Instruction & Food Saftey Commissioner, Govt. Of Kerala) (present District Collector of Thiruvananthapuram) in a grand function presided over by the School SMC Chairman Sri K. Sudhakumar at the PF Hall of the DPI’s Office, Thiruvananthapuram on 4th February 2014, 3.30 PM. The first copy of the magazine was handed over to Shri.C. Manoj (Tutor, District Center for English, Thiruvananthapuram). T.R Shine Wills (Editor) introduced the magazine. Jasna of Std 9D welcomed the gathering and Devika of 8E casted the Vote of Thanks. Aravind and Panchami compered the function. Lisha S Thapas, Smt. J Sija, Shri. Bivin Kumar, Shri. Suresh Kumar, Shri. A.Shanavas , Shri. Ahamad Ali and the members of the Club etc were fortunate to participate. Appreciating the students and teachers for bringing out such a wonderful English Magazine, the respected DPI commented that this was the first venture in the whole of INDIA. He added that it was amazing and unbelievable to note that a Govt. School has come up with such a book.
