District Administration Cachar

On April 20, 2024, the Cachar District Administration organized a street play followed by a street rally as part of the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme, which was attended by Sri Rakesh Banik, the State Election Icon, along with the District Development Commissioner, Cachar, first-time voters, and Sarathi Baideos. A large gathering assembled at Nehru College Pailapool, culminating in a voter pledge taken by first-time voters, Sarathi Baideos, and others.

On 18/04/2024, voters awareness campaigns by Sarathi Baideos under SVEEP activities were conducted at different G.Ps under Rajabazar Development Block.

On16/04/2024, awareness program was organized by SVEEP cell Cachar at Silchar Development Block in presence of Mehebub Alam Laskar Deputy Director NYK Mousumi Ghosh and Praveen Kumar Mahato BDO Silchar Development Block, Anita Puarakayastha CDPO Silchar, Debadutta Choudhary BPM ASRLM, and all staff.

On 16/04/2024, awareness generation program was organized by SVEEP cell under at different GPs under BMMU Borkhola.

On 14/04/2024, awareness programme was organized by SVEEP Cell Cachar at Lakhipur Development Block in presence of Mehebub Alom Laskar Deputy Director NYK Mousumi Ghosh and Serlibon Rongpipi BPM, Pradip Kumar Dushad Block Co-ordinator ASRLM.

On 14/04/2024, awareness programme was organized by SVEEP Cell Cachar at Binnakandi Development Block in presence of Mehebub Alom Laskar Deputy Director NYK Mousumi Ghosh and Soraj Das BDO Binnakandi Development Block Chayan Shekhar Acharjee BPM ASRLM, Nandita Sarma AREO.

On 14/04/2024, Voters awareness campaigns have been conducted under SVEEP activities with participation from SHG members under ASRLMS at various location within Banaskandi Development Block.

On 12/04/2024, awareness program was organised by SVEEP CELL Cachar at Tapang Development Block in presence of Deputy Director NYK, BDO Tapang Block, CDPO Tapang CD Block and all ASRLM staff.

On 10th April, 2024, large numbers of SHG Members under ASRLM, Cachar have taken Voters' Pledge across all the GPs of Cachar District.

On 04/04/2024 awareness program was held at Udharband Development Block in presence of Block Development Officer Sri Kubed Ahmed Choudhary and others Block staff.

On 30th March’2024 the DDC meeting for March was chaired by Narsing Bey, DDC Cachar with the presence of all departmental heads. During the meeting, a comprehensive review was conducted to assess the monthly progress of departmental schemes & implementation of the directives given in the last meeting.

On 01/04/2024 a service voter's awareness meeting was held at the auditorium of Army Camp, Masimpur as a part of awareness campaign for parliamentary election organised by the Systematic Voter's Education & Electoral Participation Cell (SVEEP Cell) of Cachar District Administration here on Monday.

Voters awareness programme was held at the Assam University Silchar on 28/3/2024 where staffs and students Participated actively in the discussion on Electoral process and made the programme a successful one.

In connection with parliamentary Election 2024, and as a Part of SVEEP (Systematic voters Education and Electoral Participation) activity, a voter awareness programme conducted by Nehru yuva Kendra was held in Borkhola Govt. Model college on 27/3/2024. Students of the college attended the programme in large numbers and made the programme successful.

On 14/03/2024, the DC Cachar visited Chotomamda SC, Gossainnagar SC, Niz Rupaibali SC, Singarbond Pt III SC, Hazarigram SC and inspected various sections of the health centres, assessing their functioning. Additionally, DC Cachar took stock of the quality of health services provided to patients.

On 08/04/2024, the DC Cachar visited Paddy Procurement Centres at FCI, Ramnagar, Sonabarighat Dhan Kray Kendra, and Kabuganj Dhan Kray Kendra. During the visits, he inspected the operations of the PPC and assessed the procurement process.
