Show us that you read from knowledgeable sources. ‘Colorflow’ Doppler is an important tool in checking whether you need surgery✂ī¸ or not or if surgery can be delayed. Recently I had to visit Rome. ✈ī¸ A quick work trip for my medical research.

Enjoyed meeting with my European friends. The weather was perfect- lovely, crisp and spring. The splendid, mild chill in the evening breeze, that takes away all your tiredness of the whole day. Energising crunchy European salads and exceptional fresh handmade flat-bread sandwiches đŸĨ™.

What was more special that, I learned a valuable lesson.

It is better to spot a colorectal cancer by doing a yearly potty💩 test for hidden blood🩸 in the potty. It is best done after the age of 50🧔‍♂ī¸. Do not wait for blood coming out on the stools. In developed countries, testsđŸ§Ē for hidden blood are routinely done after 50. By taking more fruits🍎, vegetablesđŸĨ— and fibersđŸĨĻ and doing exercises🏋ī¸, you can avoid colorectal cancer🤚.

Just like government of England, here the patient pays, out of their pocket. And they need to know which treatment works and which are just glitters on newspapers and city advertisements.

Despite its lacunae NHS must continue to exist. At least to spread the ray of hope to the world. That, yes it is possible to provide cutting edge medical treatment to the patient and that to do that, government does not have to scramble for the cheapest and lowest quality. Instead, with a good plan and some forward thinking governments can do wonders for their citizen. Long live NHS and stay happy, and ofcourse Stay healthy.

Kolkata's own Gynaecological Cancer awareness page. Created by myself, Manas Chakrabarti. I am a doctor with special interest in women’s cancer or gynaecological oncology. Majority of my gynaecological cancer training was in England where I studied for more than a decade. Doctors who deal with gynae cancers are called Gynaecological Oncologists. After I returned from UK I am finding Gynaecological Cancer awareness is alarmingly low in and around this area of the world. This page aims to provide state-of-the-art newer managements of cancer but most importantly, how to prevent cancer too where possible. Prevention of certain cancer is a reality thanks to the scientific advances! But how many of us know that? The journey starts when you are very healthy. The journey starts when you are not even thinking about cancer. Prevention is cheaper and better than cure. Decades back we never thought people could survive tuberculosis, typhoid or plague but today we expect one to survive. We need crusade against cancer. We need awareness. We need to kill the taboos. We need to TALK! In the local environment finding impartial/ genuine widespread awareness may not be very easy, this page aims to provide unbiased truths about gynaecological cancer. Thanks to the fighters of cancer, families of patients, my friends, my own family and many other who inspire me to write this page. However, the fight is bigger. We need support from each of you who are reading this page. We will continue to update this page with newer information quite regularly. Spread knowledge, #MakeNoise #KnowNow and save lives.
