Glimpses of today's program organised by Gandhi Study Circle of Motilal College (E), University of Delhi. As Chief Guest of program the shared my views on "Gandhi & Women Empowerement". On this ocassion also distributed prize certificates to the winners students who participated in Inter-College Competitions. Program was meticulously organized and well attended by the students and teachers.

The Department of Library & Information Science, which is a trendsetter in education, research and innovation in the country, celebrated its 78th Foundation Day. Prof. Uma Knajilal, Pro Vice-Chancellor of IGNOU and Prof. Amitava Chakraborty, Dean Faculty of Arts, University of Delhi graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. Professor Rakesh Kumar Bhatt, HOD & Patron DULSA, while welcoming the guest through the light on the role of the Department on the growth & development of LIS education, research and innovations.

On this occasion the achievers (Toppers, JRF/NET, M.Phil./PhD awardees) were felicitated for their accomplishments.

After post COVID 19, it was the first annual day function organised in physical mode. I congratulate HOD and my colleagues in the department Dr. Manish Kumar, Professor Meera and Dr. Pinki for organising such a successful program.

Glimpses of today's Velidictory ceremony of one day National Seminar on "Gandhi & Hindi Literature" organised by Department of Hindi & IQAC of Shyamlal College (M). As Chief Guest of the Program, I shared my views on Gandhi and Hindi. Program was nicely organised and well structured.
I have visited SLC after 5 years, I must congratulate Prof Rabinarayan Kar ji, Principal of the College for changing the entire physical landscape of the College and making SLC truly a vibrant.

15th April 24, DU will organize first program on "Celebration of Samvidhan Amrit Mahotsav:75 Years of Rebublic of Bharat".

Glimpses of today's special lecture on "The Ideas of Gandhi & Tolstoy in Historical Prespective" organised by Gandhi Bhawan, University of Delhi on the ocassion of "75 Years of India's Constitution -Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Samman".

The program was jointly organised by Gandhi Bhawan and Russian Embassy in India and attended by Prof Balaram Pani ji as Chief Guest, Dr Галина Алексеева, Academic Director, Leo Tolstoy Museum-Estate "Yasnaya Polyana", Russia as keynote speaker, while Prof Ram Singh ji, Director, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi as Distinguished Guest. The program was nicely coordinated by Dr. Girish Munjal.

Lecture was very thoughtful and informative, As presidental address, I recollect and shared my views on the contributions made by these two great leaders for universal peace, harmony, non-violance and universal brotherhood.

My gratitude and thanks to all the students and teachers for gracing the ocassion.

Educational tour with own students and colleagues always a matter of inner happiness and satisfaction. Today's with our students of Department visited Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat as a part program of field trip.
I'm extremely happy with the hospitality, love and affection extended by Gandhi Darshan & Smriti Smriti, Ministry of Culture, Govt of India, especially my dear Dr. Jwala Prasad ji, Director of GD&GS and his entire team. Glad to saw that under the dynamic leadership of Shri Vijay Goel ji, Vice-Chairman of GD&GS, the pace of developmental works at GD&GS is marvelous & magnificent.
