Effects of sickle cell on women's lives

If we look at it, sickle cell is a genetic autosomal recessive disorderBut I am telling you what I have experienced through my experience and discussion with people..

The physical effects of sickle cell have been observed more on women when the age of a woman is 16 to 45 years (hormonal changes) sickle cell crisis (pain,) is more common..There are reasons for a similar crisis in young children...but when a woman is in the reproductive age such as (Menstruations, Pregnancy, Psychological & Social Effect, Marriage & carrier) etc factors are responsible for this sickle cell crisis..

If any factor is more responsible for all this, it is the lack of knowledge of sickle cell.. The knowledge of sickle cell is not only for those who have sickle cell but it is equally necessary to give the knowledge of sickle cell to every person of the society... when every person of the society has this sickle. A positive change can be brought about if the cell is awareWe are striving to bring this positive change for sickle cell in the society....expecting your support and cooperation..Efforts are necessary to make every sister living with sickle cell self-reliant and healthy and educated..

આજે પ્રાથમિક શાળા દધેડા(ઝઘડીયા) ખાતે સિકલ સેલ ફોઉન્ડેશન અને DCM SHRIRAM LTD ના સંયુક્ત ઉપક્રમેં દધેડા પ્રાથમિક શાળા માં સિકલ સેલ જાગૃતિ અને સિકલ સેલ સ્ક્રીનીંગ(તપાસ) કેમ્પનું આયોજન થયું..જેમાં HB ELECTROPHORESIS TEST,CBC,BLOOD GROUP જેવા ટેસ્ટનું નિઃશુલ્ક તપાસ યોજવામાં આવી..અંદાજે 200 જેટલા બાળકો અને લાભાર્થીઓ એ આ નિઃશુલ્ક કેમ્પમાં ભાગ લીધો..પ્રાથમિક શાળાના આચાર્ય શ્રી મનીષ ઠાકોર સાહેબ,શિક્ષક મિત્રો,વાલીઓ અને ગામ લોકોના સાથ અને સહકાર થકી આ કેમ્પનું સફળ આયોજન થઈ શક્યું એ માટે અમે દરેક વ્યક્તિનો અંતઃકરણ પૂર્વક આભાર વ્યક્ત કરીયે છીએ..

Sickle Cell Guidance Center(Prakriti Hospital. Kodba(Sagabara))..Every time I meet new people, new experiences and knowledge.. Sickle Cell Guidance Center is a place where you can find a host of living beings who experience happiness, pain and struggle and triumph..The spirit of helping the needy people is fulfilled by the support and cooperation of dedicated people.. More than 200 people visit this guidance center.. 60% sickle cell sufferers of all ages including small children get free sickle cell treatment at this center. Taking services from last 12 years..Continuous since 12 years There has been no reduction in the number of friends undergoing regular treatment.It is a matter of pride for us..I feel that the efforts we are making are bringing a positive and healthy touch to the lives of friends with sickle cell disease..The only goal of life is to stop sickle cell disease children from being born and people with sickle cell disease can live a healthy and good life..I pray to nature to give strength and blessings to us and people who have become partners in this campaign. ....

Most of the children with sickle cell disease
Children leave their education incomplete After about 10th standard children drop out..There are many reasons for this..But today I will say that 70% of the children who come to me spend their lives sitting at home..They have been mentally broken by the surrounding environment in such a way that they have accepted the fact that we cannot do anything in life and Our life span is very short..Today's mentality of the society forces these children to feel like death with life..for this society has to be aware about sickle cell..has to work for their upliftment..has to encourage for education, has to try to make them self-reliant. .The bright future of sickle cell disease children should only be directed towards rehabilitation.Due to this disease, the tribal children are being pushed towards the darkness of issues like education, employment and health which has to be stopped otherwise most of the tribal areas in the future will not be able to escape from the clutches of diseases like sickle cell.

First Sunday of every month is Sickle Cell Guidance Center. Our day to go to Kodba(Sagbara)Narmada which is our routine for last 12 years..we have intimate relationship with thousands of sickle cell friends.. Every month more than 150 sickle cell disease friends come for medicines, checkup, counseling and follow up..All health services are free at our guidance center..If required we also provide services of super specialist doctor friends at our guidance center. .Every sickle cell friend comes with their own pain, yellowness or problems..everyone needs warmth and counseling along with medicine..now the sun is shining so what cares.. Our aim is to encourage them to live a healthy life by providing them with good quality water bottles etc.. We are trying so that sickle cell disease children are not born and people who have sickle cell disease lead a healthy life..
