Though we all know the meaning, very little is known about the essence of ‘Shubh Labh’ which is put on entrance doors/temple area of homes & businesses.
This traditional word-pair stresses on the importance of good intention….how we ‘receive’(gain) a particular thing from another person.
A simplest example is from daily life: At a grocery shop, you pay the full price but buying the product from a smiling shopkeeper versus buying the same product from a cunning shopkeeper, makes all the difference. This in turn affects the feelings a customer feels while using that product. The same person will never go back to the cunning shopkeeper but will return with friends to the happy shopkeeper. Isn’t it!!!?
So ‘Shubh Labh’ is all about ‘gaining in a righteous way’💝
