Exciting news! Our students had a fantastic time exploring the wonders of science at the Regional Science Centre.

On Day 5 the students embarked to Chidiyatapu, a serene and picturesque destination in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This adventure encompassed a trek to Munda Pahad, exploration of Bird Island, and a scenic ferry ride to the historically rich Ross Island. The students embarked on a journey that combined nature, adventure, and history, making it a well-rounded learning experience. The invigorating trek to Munda Pahad hill offered panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Led by experienced guides, the students traversed through dense forests, crossed bubbling streams, and navigated challenging terrains. The final leg of the adventure involved a ferry ride to Ross Island, a place steeped in history. Once the administrative headquarters of the British during their rule, Ross Island now stands as a silent witness to a bygone era. The students explored remnants of colonial architecture, such as the British Commissioner's residence, the church, and the club, which provided valuable insights into the island's historical significance. The experience was enhanced by the knowledge shared by local guides, making history come alive for the students.

Day 4 of the journey began with the departure from Havelock Islands to Port Blair. Upon arrival, the students headed to the historic Chatham Saw Mill, a landmark that stands as a testament to the region's rich history. Students had the chance to delve into the workings of this iconic sawmill, gaining insights into the island's industrial heritage. They proceeded to Corbyn's Cove Beach, a tranquil setting for students to unwind and engage in beach activities. The evening culminated in a breathtaking sunset picnic, providing a perfect backdrop for reflection and connection with fellow students.

Day 3 of exploring the beautiful Andaman Islands commenced with an unforgettable journey, as the students ventured into the mesmerizing world beneath the waves with a scuba diving expedition in the Andaman Islands. This educational and thrilling experience provided a unique opportunity for both learning and leisure.

In a remarkable adventure to the Andaman Islands that has transcended classroom boundaries, the expedition on day 2 unfolded as a perfect blend of education and leisure, offering students the opportunity to explore the pristine beauty of Havelock Island, bask in the sun at Radhanagar Beach, and engage in a nature walk at Neil's Cove. No trip to the Andaman Islands is complete without a visit to Radhanagar Beach, often hailed as one of the world's most beautiful beaches. The students reveled in the powdery white sands, crystal-clear waters, and the vibrant marine life that thrived just beneath the surface. A highlight of the trip was the nature walk at Neil's Cove, where students immersed themselves in the rich biodiversity of the island. Led by knowledgeable guides, the nature walk provided an educational experience, allowing students to discover unique flora and fauna while gaining insights into the delicate balance of the island's ecosystem.

Our students had an enlightening visit to the naval base today. The experience broadened their understanding of maritime operations and instilled a sense of discipline and patriotism.

We appreciate the naval personnel for their informative sessions, making this field trip a valuable educational endeavor.

Theme " Sharing The Planet" - The inquiry into natural resources led the students to develop critical thinking skills and a sense of civic responsibility.
They explored recycling and waste management methods, second-grade IB students decided to recycle waste bottles and create a tree. They also took on the responsibility of monitoring food waste and chose to advocate for clean plates and discourage others from wasting food.

We commend these young learners for their reflective approach and application of what they have learned.

Adventure camp at TIPS Kochi - Encompassed by an array of adventure activities like Commando Net, Zoomering, Rappelling, Zipline, Balance Walk, Valley crossing etc.The children participated with zeal and were delighted when they completed each task.

Camp helped them to develop basic athletic skills such as balancing coordination and every activity aimed at honing skills.

As a way forward TIPS has forged student exchange program. In the phase of this initiative, we had the pleasure of hosting students from Reunion islands for an immersive 10-day exchange program. As next step in the program, students from TIPS will embark on a reciprocal visit to Reunion, where they will immerse themselves in the culture and traditions of this beautiful islands.
Alongside their academic learning curve, they had quite a diverse range of experiences. Their time in visual arts lab introduces them to traditional
'Warli art' pottery making and hands on experience with canvas. These cultural experiences were complemented by traditional sports, including Kabaddi, seven stones and various others. This initiative is aimed to provide students with a unparalleled chance to learn about cross-culture and education. This major goal of the tour is to promote cultural exchange and future mobility between India and the Reunion islands. The exchange program will not only be an eye-opening experience but also a pathway to cultural enrichment, personal growth and the formation of fresh global perspectives.

We are confident that this visit will play a key role in enhancement of our students' personal and academic development, opening doors to a world of opportunities.
