Lab Name: Digital circuit and Microprocessor Lab

Digital circuit is a collection of interconnected digital components called Gates.
Logic gates are the backbone of digital circuits, providing the foundation for data manipulation, processing, and decision making. Their ability to perform logical operations based on Boolean algebra allows for the design and implementation of complex digital systems..!!!!!

NITESH PLACED AT TCE MUMBAI

Nitesh Kumar, a Diploma student from the Session of (2020-2023) at Chandil Polytechnic, Department of Mechanical Engineering, has secured a placement at Tata Consultancy Engineering Mumbai.

The Chandil Polytechnic extends its heartiest congratulations to Nitesh for this remarkable achievement and wishes him the best in his future endeavours.

For 6th semester, the Last date of project submission 25th, April 2024. The project file along with hardware model must be submitted to Department within the mentioned date.
And 1st internal examination of 4th and 6th students will be tentatively commence on 1st week of May.

The classes for 4th and 5th semester has already been commenced and the class routine for the same has been shared here.
All students must maintain 75% attendance throughout the semester.

This laboratory aims to develop highly efficient engines using state-of-the-art facilities via conducting experiments for various investigations such as performance, emission, combustion and in-cylinder flow visualization.
The piston of an engine is the first part to begin movement and to transmit power to the crankshaft as a result of the pressure and energy generated by the combustion of the fuel. The piston is closed at one end and open on the other end to permit direct attachment of the connecting rod and its free action.
Power in kW = (Pm LAN/n 100)/60 in bar where Pm = mean effective pressure L = length of the stroke in m A = area of the piston in m2 N = Rotational speed of engine RPM n= number of revolutions required to complete one engine cycle n= 1 (for two stroke engine) n= 2 (for four stroke engine)

The term
‘bench work’
refers to the production of components by hand on the bench, whereas
fitting deals, which the assembly of mating parts, through removal of metal, to obtain the required fit.Both the bench work and fitting requires the use of number of simple hand tools and considerable manual efforts. The operations in the above works consist of filing, chipping, scraping, sawing drilling, and tapping.
