चिन्मय मुद्रा: सर्वप्रथम वज्रासन / पद्मासन या सुखासन में बैठ जाइए। अब तर्जनी उंगली के अग्र भाग को अंगूठे के अग्र भाग से स्पर्श कीजिए व बाकी तीन उंगलियों को मुट्ठी बाँधने की स्थिति में मोड़ लीजिए । हाथों को घुटनो पर रखिए हथेलियों को आकाश की तरफ रखेंगे।
लाभ: यह मुद्रा नये साधकों के लिए बोल उपयोगी है यदि आपका मन एकाग्र नहीं रहता या बोहत ज़्यादा मन विचलित होता है, तब हम इस मुद्रा से अपने मन को विचलित होने से बचा सकते हैं
कारण: हमारी उँगलियो में सभी पांच तत्व विद्यमान है हमारी प्रत्येक ऊँगली किसी न किसी गुण एवं अवगुण को प्रदर्षित करती है । यदि हम अपनी तीनो उंगलियों ( जल, पृथ्वी, आकाश ) को मुलाधार् मे और पहली ऊँगली ( वायु ) एवं अंगुष्ठा ( अग्नि ) को आपस में जोड़ देते है तब हमारे सारे तत्व शांत हो जाते है जिस से हमारी ऊर्जा हमारे अंदर हि रहती है और बाहर नही भागती अतः हमारा मन एकाग्र हो जाता ये और यह मुद्रा हमारे पूरे शरीर में एक संवेदना को उत्त्पन्न कर देती है जिसके द्वारा हमारा मस्तिक इधर उधर ना भाग कर संवेदनाओ की ओर एकाग्र हो जाता है!
Chinmaya Mudra : or the Gesture of Awareness is a simple hand gesture using the thumb and the index finger.
*It's very beneficial for beginners yoga sadhak and it will relax your internal energies and mind also this mudra will produce a great sensation in our body that will cause Equanimity of body, mind and soul that is called "Samatvam" .
