A 53 yr old male who is a known case of chronic liver disease underwent liver biopsy..day after procedure he presented with sudden onset of abdominal distension and HB Drop..on evaluation he found to have small pseudo aneurysm from right hepatic artery, planned for emergency embolisation..procedure was quite successful and there are no post procedural unwanted events..he became vitally stable and discharged on next day itself..tnq..!

A 60 yr old female who’s suffering from uncontrolled hypertension even with medications, on evaluation she found to have bilateral severe renal artery stenosis planned for angioplasty and stenting..procedure was quite successful and post procedure her blood pressure is maintaining with in normal limits with very minimal medication.
Before procedure she was on 4 tablets to reduce bp, now only one tablet is good enough…

Case of the week..pretty much satisfactory one bcz it was life saving..!!

A 60 yr old male presented with sudden vitals drop and on inotropes support to the emergency…on evaluation there is large subcapsular haematoma around the liver, haemoperitoneum ( blood in abdomen ) and ruptured liver cancer.,planned for emergency embolisation..post procedure no uneventful episodes and post procedure his blood pressure and vitals were absolutely stable and patient got discharged in next two days..tnq..!!

Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE) is a medical procedure used in the treatment of certain types of liver cancer, particularly hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It involves the injection of chemotherapy drugs directly into the blood vessels that supply the tumor, followed by the embolization of those vessels to cut off the blood supply to the cancer lesion..!

Case of the week..LEFT CENTRAL VEIN ANGIOPLASTY..!!

A 30 yr old male who is a known case of chronic kidney disease on dialysis suffering from facial and arm swelling, chest tightness along with visible veins on chest and neck..on evaluation he found to have left central vein obstruction..! He underwent balloon angioplasty and procedure was quite successful..his symptoms were relieved..!!

What’s central vein obstruction..??

Central venous obstruction refers to the partial or complete blockage of blood flow in the central veins, usually those near the heart. This obstruction can occur due to various reasons, such as blood clots, compression by nearby structures, or inflammation…!

Symptoms of central venous obstruction..!!

Common symptoms may include swelling, pain, and changes in skin color in the affected area. Other signs can include difficulty in breathing, chest pain, or visible engorged veins…!

Common treatment options include..!

1. **Anticoagulant therapy:** Blood-thinning medications may be prescribed to prevent or treat blood clots.
