Definition of the project
-To dedicate a for sports like there are specific days for other aspects like the flag day and the Kurdish clothes' day, so that on sports day wide activities be held.
Why this project is necessary?
-Its popular in most of the countries as they dedicate a day for Sports and that day is annually celebrated nationwide. During that day different events and festivals are held,for example in Qatar, since 2011 and just after the Prince's decree, every second Tuesday has been recognized as holiday nationwide the whole nation's takes parts in sports activities. The same is true in other countries, such as: Bahrain, Japan, UAE, Malaysia, Turkey, Iran, Russia, the USA, Canada and many more including most of the European countries, where one day is dedicated for sports. Now, especially after the defeat of ISIS, is the right time for the proposed project as people's conditions has improved. This project has not been ever proposed in Iraq and it would become a great accomplishment for Kurdistan Region by which Kurdistan will be known on global stage.
