The Berlin-based duo Fireground was granted this honour as part of Tresor’s 30th anniversary series in 2021.
Such opportunities rarely go without a bit of luck, but the music speaks for itself.
The two-piece plays and produces breezy and brisk Techno in the style of the late 90s with a strong sympathy for the characteristic Birmingham sound of that time, close to the borders of Electro, with almost House like nonchalance. Powerfully articulated and nevertheless playful, lively and blithe.
Angela and Daniele will whip us through the night at peak time with a live performance.
