Monet Quartet: un quartetto al femminile | CSI Magazine Zorioscar Urbina, fagottista diplomata presso il Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana presenta il “Monet Quartet”, un quartetto creato insieme ad altre compagne di studi al CSI: Cecilia Aliffi (viola) e Irene Lembo (violino), oltre alla violoncellista Matilde Pesenti. Non perdetevi il nostro concerto venerdì 30 Giugno alle ore 20:45 in occasione del Dongo Music Festival Pro Loco Dongo, presso la Chiesa di Santa Maria in Martinico.

Purtroppo per quest’occasione la nostra violinista Irene Lembo non ci sarà, ma verrà sostituita da Gaia Sereno.

In 2023, Gaia Sereno obtained her 2nd level Academic Diploma at the Conservatorio “Giuseppe Verdi” in Turin with top marks, under the guidance of Umberto Fantini. She was awarded in several national and international competitions, including the "European Music Competition” in Moncalieri and the international music competition "Premio Crescendo" in Florence. She was admitted for the Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori (ONCI), the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana (OGI), the Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza (OTO) and the orchestra professors' course at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala. In 2021, she played at the Dubai EXPO with ONCI.

Congratulations to our bassoonist Zori Ur, who won the second prize at the Lake Como Virtuoso Competition in the “Soloist” category🥈

We are glad to announce that the 2nd PRIZE in Category "SOLOISTS" in the first edition of Lake Como Virtuoso Competition has been assigned to Zorioscar Urbina 👏

Matilde Pesenti attends the two-year course at the Como Conservatory of Music, where she received her bachelor's degree in the class of M° Guido Boselli. At the same time, she follows the master's course with M° Luca Magariello at the Accademia Music Master in Milan. She plays in various chamber music ensembles from duo to quintet. In 2022, she also graduated in Science of Cultural Heritage from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.

Cecilia Aliffi graduated from the Conservatorio “Giuseppe Verdi” in Como and from the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana with Master in Music Performance in the class of M° Danilo Rossi. She performs qwith orchestra and chamber ensembles both in Italy and abroad. In 2021 she played at the Expo 2020 Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with the orchestra of the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala.

Irene Lembo graduated from the Conservatorio “Giuseppe Verdi” in Como and obtained a Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana with M° Klaidi Sahatçi. She has performed both as a soloist and as a member of chamber and orchestral ensembles, both in Italy and abroad. She has won several competitions, most recently first prize at “International Grand Prize Virtuoso” competition in Paris. She is currently attending the course for orchestra professors at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan and from September 2023 she will be attending the Master of Arts HES-SO en Interprétation musicale avec orientation en concert' at the HEM Haute école de Musique in Geneva, in the class of M° Nurit Stark.

Zori Ur studied with Maestros Omar Ascanio, Hening Trog, Giorgio Versiglia, Gabor Meszaros and Alberto Biano. She obtained a Master in Music Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana with top marks and collaborated with various orchestras in Italy and Switzerland. Winner of several chamber music and solo competitions (most recently second prize at the Sorato Competition in 2022). She is currently a bassoon and music propaedeutic teacher in Valtellina and Alto Lario.
