The increasing popularity of environmentally friendly boats with 48V electric propulsion required the development of windlasses running at the same voltage.

Lofrans’ responded to the needs of the boating industry, and our TIGRES - Horizontal Windlass is also available in 48V, and comes with Rope Kit!

For the 48V variant we have 63% decrease in amperage consumption in relation to the 24V equivalent variant, which makes it a cost efficient solution (smaller cables, supply from the same home batteries which results in lower installation costs).

Lofrans’ Touch Panel is designed to be a truly reliable windlass control panel.

It is a low profile anchor windlass touch panel with LED backlit buttons having a two button activation mode in order to secure any accidental activation.

Its secure design is enhanced by the 3 minute auto deactivation as well as the buzzer notification on deactivation.

Lofrans’ T & ST Series Capstans are exactly what you are looking for, since they can be used in recreational, fishing and commercial vessels!

Their range is designed for boats from 18 up to 150 feet and are normally installed on the stern of the boat for mooring operations.

They are controlled by a pair of the foot switches close to the capstan, so that the operator can have his/her hands from rope handling.

The base is made of chromed bronze, strong and long lasting, as are the drums, which have the proper surface to hold the rope and minimize wear.
