Ralph Carter aka Michael Evans - Good Times

Michael Evans, the youngest child of Florida and James Evans, was played by actor Ralph Carter.

Although he is known for his role on Good Times, Carter’s career did not begin in television; when he was just 9-years-old, Carter was featured in the musical “The Me Nobody Knows.” From there, he landed roles in stage productions, “Tough to Get Help,” “Dude” and “Via Galactica,” according to ABC 7.

He also recorded an album called When You’re Young and in Love, and performed it on Soul Train. These days, Carter is retired from acting and living a quiet life with his family in New York.

John Amos aka James Evans Sr. - Good Times

John Amos portrayed Florida Evans’ husband James Evans Sr. On the show, James is a Korean war veteran who struggles to find work due to his lack of education.

Despite his commitment to support and provide for his family, he rarely found consistent and the family often struggled financially.

Amos eventually left the show after three seasons due to creative differences with showrunner Norman Lear; the actor went on to star in the 1977 miniseries Roots, which earned him an Emmy nomination.

Amos has two adult children and currently resides in Tewksbury Township, New Jersey.

Esther Rolle aka Florida Evans - Good Times

Esther Rolle played the matriarch of the Evans family, Florida Evans. On the show, Florida and her husband James are working class parents living in a Chicago housing project while attempting to raise their three children.

Rolle is best known for her roll on Good Times, as well as her character on the series’ parent show Maude. Roll sadly died in 1998 from complications with diabetes, just nine days after turning 78.

Keshia Knight Pulliam (Rudy Huxtable) - The Cosby Show: Then & Now

After playing the youngest Cosby, Keshia went on to appear in a number of films and TV shows including, "Beauty Shop," "Madea Goes to Jail," and "House of Payne." In 2017, she showed Cosby support during his sexual abuse trial. She also welcomed a daughter with Ed Hartwell.

Sabrina Le Beauf (Sondra Huxtable-Tibideaux) - The Cosby Show: Then & Now

Sabrina, who played eldest daughter Sondra, graduated from the Yale School of Drama and frequently performs with the Shakespeare Theater Company in Washington D.C.

Raven-Symone (Olivia Kendall) - The Cosby Show: Then & Now

Raven played Denise's stepdaughter. She starred in two hit shows, "Hanging With Mr. Cooper" and "That's So Raven," which has a reboot in the works. She also co-hosted "The View."

Phylicia Rashad (Clair Huxtable) - The Cosby Show: Then & Now

Since her days playing the matriarch on "The Cosby Show," Phylicia has gone on to appear in a slew of made for TV movies and TV shows, joining Bill in "Cosby." Most recently she's landed roles on "Psych" and "Just Wright." Phylicia has two children with ex-husband Ahmad Rashad. The couple split in 2001.

Rudy Huxtable — Keshia Knight Pulliam (44): The youngest Huxtable child was played by Keshia Knight Pulliam.

In addition to roles in the films Madea Goes to Jail (2009) and Beauty Shop (2005), she has been a series regular on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne since 2007.

She just had a baby in April with actor and husband Brad James (her second, his first). The two are living a quiet farm life in Atlanta.

Good Times is an American television sitcom that aired for six seasons on CBS, from February 8, 1974, to August 1, 1979. Created by Eric Monte and Mike Evans and developed by executive producer Norman Lear, it was television's first African American two-parent family sitcom. Good Times is a spin-off of Maude, which itself is a spin-off of All in the Family, making Good Times the first television spin-off from another spin-off.
