This page was created by the dance artist Isabel De Lorenzo in 2012 for the dance piece "Frida Suite". Later, the page continued as a collection of inspirations regarding Frida Kahlo. In 2022 "Tina & Frida Viva la Vida!" - a new show and dance workshop series in collaboration with Francesca Pedretti - has been included in the umbrella of Dancing Frida. Dancers from all over and lovers of Frida Kahlo, Tina Modotti and Mexican Art are welcome.

From “Frida Suite” to “Dancing Frida”
This fan page was created by Isabel De Lorenzo in 2012. It was about her theater dance show "Frida Suite", presented in Rome (full version) and later in Paris and New York (extracts). Then Isabel decided to keep the page alive, as a collection of information and inspiration regarding Frida Kahlo and other artwork inspired by her.
In 2019 Isabel started again to teach dance workshops inspired by Frida Kahlo. At the end of each workshop the group of dancers create an improvisational performance. The project is traveling many European cities since then. We are in love with it. Keep going! Keep dancing! Viva la vida!
