Back home now from the 2024 Dirt Nitro Challenge. What a week. To be able to come away with the TQ & win in nitro buggy & 3rd in nitro truggy is just amazing.

The game plan was to stay consistent through the finals, from previous experience I had seen that the most consistent drive delivered good results at this race with the track the way it gets.

In the truggy main I just tried to stay out of trouble as much as possible at the start, then I started to make up as many places as possible but unfortunately by the time I made my up into the top 3 the top 2 guys had already got away. I was still extremely happy to come away with a podium after bumping up from a crazy B final.

In the Nitro buggy final starting on pole the most important thing was to stay clean for the first 5 minutes then see where we would be. I was able to make a gap early on to 2nd then for the whole final it was a cat & mouse game with David Ronnefalk. He kept me honest the whole final and I knew that a mistake would put me right in the grasp of David. After an intense 45min final on a brutal track we came home with the win, it’s still hard to believe but we did it. Huge shout out to David and Dakotah for the podium.

I want to thank Luigi Simeoni for his help for the hard work all week & the preparation before the race. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. Also to Marco Rossi for his help in the pits & making sure my REDS RACING power house was singing all week.

Thank you to Nicola Marrone for his advice and support for my Hotrace Tyres Factory, my White Bangkok V2 tyres were hooked up in the final.

I want to congratulate the whole SWORKz RC team who had the most cars in the final, an incredible showing in a staked field. And thanks to everyone in the Sworkz pits, the vibe in the pits was amazing and I’m looking forward to next one with you all.

Now to enjoy the moment back home with my family before getting back to work preparing for the next race.
