First steps to ESA's plan for Recycling in Space thanks to CastelGAUSS Observatory 08/02/2022

GAUSS and its CastelGAUSS Space Debris Observatory were mentioned in the blog of ESA - European Space Agency about their plan to transition to a space circular economy, ensuring in-orbit servicing of future space platforms, avoiding further space debris and reusing what is already present in orbit, as valuable building blocks for next-gen human bases.
Recycle it!

A caccia di detriti spaziali 11/08/2021

Here is the second video produced by Radiotelevisione svizzera (RSI) on the issue of space debris and potential mitigations in the near future.

A part of this video was shot in GAUSS integration laboratories, where was assembled.
GAUSS experts were asked about the new frontiers of ecological sustainability in space.

We are glad to introduce a new subsystem developed for Small Satellite missions: the GAUSS PCDU!

Built for standard, It is a designed to power, control and monitor payloads onboard a satellite, and it can provide power up to 50W per channel!

It has been tested in TVAC and now it is under testing onboard .

Have you ever seen a satellite flying?

This is on March 4th, just moments before its integration on the Fregat vehicle, while fixed to the Baikonur hangar crane.

You can see the separation system already attached to the bottom of the satellite.

Most RBFs had already been removed, some were still in place to protect the most sensitive components.
