What started as a search for the perfect wedding venue somewhere in northern Italy ended up on Lake Como, and we’re here for it)

These two knew their guests would be traveling no matter what, and they wanted to find a venue that could tick the boxes of “outdoors,” “lake views,” and “family-friendly.” Even though the villa is perched on a hill, the panoramic views of the lake and mountains were stunning.⁠

I’m looking forward to sharing more of the design process because, in my opinion, it’s the perfect example of how to leverage the beauty of a wedding venue and create an intimate family atmosphere through key design decisions.

Back in the office after an adventurous weekend where we visited wedding locations in Tuscany with our clients.⠀

The entire castle is surrounded by a large garden with olive trees and cypress trees, the swimming pool offers beautiful panoramic views of the Senesi hills, and the furnishings of the suites are in keeping with the historical character of the castle.

I cannot wait for all their guests to experience what we are getting in store for them.

The biggest insight is how important it is (and always a high goal!) to have heartfelt hospitality at the forefront of our couple’s wedding experience. Nothing makes a first and lasting impression like the realization that that they wanted to please you, surprise and delight you, carefully prepared and took care of everything.⁠⠀
