Tomorrow morning session is still on.

Then it restarts a week later for 2023.

Swim Smart and our coaches would like to wish all our swimmers, supporters, family and friends a merry christmas.

Feeling somewhat annoyed at Les Quennevais Sports Centre & Active sports bookings.

As we look to expand due to demand, we asked about swimming on Friday morning. Email confirmed our booking so we advertise and took money only to find out by 3rd party the time we booked was actually not available. So we refunded clients.

We then go back and ask for earlier slot and got it all booked and confirmed. So we advertised and had 25 people booked in for coaching. Only to get a call yesterday to say we can no longer have that slot as their staff don’t start till later. So spent this morning refunding again.

We still have some spaces left on our winter pool training.

***2 bits of Exciting News***
The past year has gone quick.

Firstly - We now have regular large numbers adults learning to swim/coaching on a weekly basis.

We will be moving to 3 days a week for our coaching sessions - yes due to numbers we are expanding.

2nd news - we are so happy to share the success of our coaching sessions/try a tri session/ solo marathon swims that as a business the coaching staff have decided to hold an awards/presentation evening for those connected to swim smart during 2022.

Yesterday was the start of a new month and our build up to that turkey.

Good to see so many keen on a dark early morning.

We go throughout the whole year and only not swim xmas week or when the pool is shut. We have been doing pool sessions for 17 months now and we have seen some great results with the swimmers in both terms of times and fitness.

Well done to the jersey lads who took part on world stage.

Mark Syvret 33rd in his age group. Great work.

What a lovely day for the staff at Swim Smart to undergo their Powerboat Level 2 course.

Being highly qualified is something we believe in as a company and ensure they have access to ongoing training.

***Training Camp***

Swim Smart in association with Transition will be holding a Triathlon & Distance swim camp at Club La Santa Lanzarote in February.

Open to all adults.

Approx £1000-£1100 for 7 days in the sun. Including all flights, accommodation and coaching sessions.

As the autumn is drawing to a close, winter begins.

Our Monday night swim coach group have come such a long way in short time.

Many competed in the try a tri and all are new to open water.

Tonight we push their boundaries and sent them to archi And back, their longest swim to date.

All Swim Smart Coaches are extremely proud.

Very saddened to hear of the death of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II and offer our condolences and thoughts to the whole Royal Family at this time.
