All our thoughts and prayers are with our soldiers who are defending the Bakhmut fortress at the cost of their lives, deterring the barbaric invasion of Ukrainian land. Since July, the occupants have not abandoned their fruitless attempts to capture this city and have been postponing the date when they expect to occupy the entire Donbas for six months. And every such day with our successes is new proof of the insanity of attacking Ukraine. Deep respect to all Ukrainian soldiers who withstand the pressure in the Soledar direction and give us hope for future victories from the Luhansk region and the southern borders of our country. ● General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: yesterday, the enemy conducted three missile strikes, 13 airstrikes and 68 attacks from multiple rocket launchers, including attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka and Kurakhovo in Donetsk region, Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region and Kherson. There are casualties, seriously wounded and dead among civilians.
● Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to push russian troops back beyond Bakhmut, said Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of Donetsk regional military administration. According to him, the city was destroyed by more than 60%, and two women died on Wednesday due to enemy shelling in the town.

After the tenth massive russian missile attack on our Ukrainian cities and infrastructure, we're thankful to the Air Force and Ukrainian air defence fighters, which reliably protect our skies, saving thousands of lives with their heroism. Our tireless power engineers and repair teams are doing everything to ensure that Ukrainians feel the consequences of russian terror as little as possible. With each such strike, we become only more robust as a nation that believes in its victory in this war of liberation. russia, on the other hand, only drives itself deeper into a dead end, forever securing the status of a terrorist state. And let the enemy once again try to make us celebrate the New Year in darkness. No matter what they plan, we will withstand and will expel the occupiers from the Ukrainian land. After all, we are fighting for the values that unite Europe and the entire democratic world, for the global value of life.

● AFU General Staff: russians carried out 85 missile and 35 air strikes over the past day, in addition to 63 attacks with MLRS. 28 different objects were damaged in 10 regions, of which 18 were private residential buildings, and the rest were critical infrastructure facilities. Five people were injured, including one child.

● In the de-occupied territories of Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Kharkiv regions, law enforcement officers have already found 1116 bodies of dead civilians, including 31 children, the National Police reported.

291st day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. On Saturday night, russian terrorists launched 15 kamikaze drones over the Odesa region, hitting critical energy infrastructure. Over 1.5 million residents remain without electricity and heat, and the city's water supply is disrupted. The damage is so severe that the restoration will take longer than after the previous attacks. This latest act of russian terror once again demonstrates the true "civilisation mission" of the kremlin imperialists and their attitude towards Odesa and other Ukrainian cities, which moscow considers "its" territories. Only conscious torture, pain and despair - all that the "russian world" brings with it. Our power engineers and utility workers are doing truly heroic things, restoring in weeks what would require months of work. 263rd day of the full-scale war in Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders have already established control in more than 60 settlements of the Kherson region; the police have started stabilisation measures. The joy and delight of such a long-awaited meeting of Kherson residents with our defenders inspire all of us. We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and continue to work for our joint Victory. Together we have to rebuild the Kherson region, where russian terrorists destroyed almost all critical infrastructure and looted everything they saw - people, museums and even animals from the local zoo. There is much work ahead, but we will definitely cope with it. And with no less happiness, we will see Ukrainian liberators greeted with Ukrainian flags in Henichesk, Melitopol, Crimea and Donbas. The kremlin continues to send its mobilised soldiers to their deaths in Ukraine ruthlessly, and russian propagandists dream about how they will walk around Kyiv. All these war criminals live in their own lies, which they have infected the whole society with. Only blood can wash away this infection of madness and cruelty. Every russian who comes to our land with weapons in his hands will be able to stay in it only forever, in a black bag. russian propagandists will be able to "walk" in our cities only in chains on the way to the dock. Despite the absolute fire superiority and increased number of troops, russians are not successful on the battlefield in Donetsk and Kherson regions. Instead, the enemy continues terrorising our peaceful cities with constant rocket attacks, destroying energy infrastructure. 4 million Ukrainians remain without light in our homes but with bright hope and confidence in the Victory in our hearts. We will definitely stand and return the Ukrainian flag to all occupied cities and villages, where the occupiers are destroying all life, destroying healthcare and social infrastructure, and killing and torturing people. We must all put an end to this and expel the occupiers from all Ukrainian land, returning decent life to Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea. Each of us is a warrior!

● An emergency power cut is introduced in Kyiv and Kyiv region indefinitely. Local authorities said it would take approximately 2-3 weeks to stabilise the situation with the electricity supply in the capital.
● AFU General Staff: the enemy carried out four missiles and up to 25 air strikes and made more than 70 attacks from multiple rocket launchers. Over 35 settlements in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were hit.
● Since September 13, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have shot down more than 300 Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Ukraine has already received kamikaze drones from partners and is waiting for the latest Switchblade 600 drones - the Air Force Command.
● The strategically important Svatovo-Kreminna road in the Luhansk region has come under the fire control of the Ukrainian military, - the AFU Eastern Group.
● UN High Representative Izuma Nakamitsu said that the organisation had seen no evidence of biological weapons in Ukraine, which russia regularly claimed in March and May.
● The Pentagon announced a new $275 million military aid package for Ukraine. It will include ammunition for weapons systems, in particular for HIMARS.
