Hello there! I'm Skai, and I'm just four years old, living in the lovely city of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. I'm known for my sweet nature, boundless energy, and my love for singing and dancing. However, lately, I've had to dial down my usual energetic self due to some unexpected circumstances. But I have an important story to share with you, and I hope it touches your heart.

About two weeks ago, I had a bit of a fever, and it kept coming and going. Naturally, my parents were concerned, so we went to see a wonderful pediatrician. After a thorough checkup, My pedia Doctor shared some worrying news with us. It turns out I almost had a broncho, and she felt it was necessary to take some extra precautions. She checked my breathing and listened to my little heartbeat, which sounded like a drum full of hope.

To be extra sure and careful, my pediatrician suggested that we visit a Pediatric Cardiologist, and she gave us a laboratory request. We didn't waste any time and went ahead with the tests, including a 2D echo with the Pediatric Cardiologist. The results were in, and it turns out I have something called Congenital Heart Disease, specifically ASD (Atrial Septal Defect Secundum).

My wonderful Pediatric Cardiologist advised us that the best course of action is open-heart surgery, a procedure that's crucial for my well-being. The cost of this surgery alone is 500,000 pesos, and that's quite a lot for my family. We're trying our best, but medical expenses are piling up, and it's becoming a bit overwhelming.

That's where my amazing loved ones come in! They've decided to start a page to help raise funds for my continuous medication before and after the surgery. They will be selling soon just about anything under the sun to make sure I get the care I need. It's a big task, but they're doing it all for me.
