It’s almost midnight now in Japan yet in Odori Park, Sapporo it feels like daytime. So many people chilling and relaxing on this bright moonless weekend.

Samantalang parang bumalik sa winter ngayong araw rito sa Sapporo. Ang lamiiiiggggg brrrrrrh!!!!!

If you have crab-elicious cravings, go to Dancing Crab Shinjuku or Osaka. You should try the restaurant’s signature Louisiana-style seafood broil. I ordered Shrimp Combo Bag Lunch Course for ¥3,000 inclusive of tax. It even came with a side salad, soup as well as unli bread and rice. Have I told you that they have an hourly dance entertainment by the fun and friendly staff?

Because everything is cheap in Japan nowadays…

When I was a kid, I often thought Japan was a very expensive travel destination. It’s for the rich and the famous. Not this time. If you’re a tourist, going to Japan is now cheaper than in some SEA countries. Weaker yen value makes it more affortable.

It’s starting to feel like summer in Hokkaido. Sapporo is forecast to experience 27°C tomorrow, the hottest so far this year.

With two big festivals simultaneously happening in Sapporo this weekend, the city is very festive.
Got to visit Hokkaido University this afternoon for the 66th Hokudai-sai. So glad to meet my former high school student Kazuto who’s a freshman at Hokkaido University.

This tropical boy has been craving for seafood lately. Kaya lang ang mahal talaga ng crab, mantis shrimp, octopus at squid dito sa Japan. Buti na lang may nakita ako sa Instagram na local seafood market. Mura lang mga paninda nila. Pero kailangan sumakay ng JR train kaya mega hoard talaga ginawa ko kanina para sulit pamasahe. Feeling ko meron na me ulam for one week.
