ペロタン東京は2024年7月、ギャラリーとストアを構える六本木ピラミデビル内に、新たに「ペロタンサロン東京」をオープンいたします。

このたびピラミデビル2階にオープンするペロタンサロンは、アーティスト、コレクター、アートの専門家、海外からの来訪者、地域で活躍するクリエイターたちが交流し、かかわりを深め合う機会を提供することを目的としています。43平方メートルのリラックスできるプライベートなサロン空間を通して、発見と交流を促します。

Perrotin Tokyo is pleased to announce the opening of Perrotin Salon Tokyo this July.

Located on the second floor of Piramide Building, Perrotin Salon aims to provide an opportunity for deeper engagement and interaction between artists, collectors, art professionals, international visitors, and local
creatives. In an intimate setting of 43sqm, the boutique gallery space will offer privacy and comfort for discovery and interchange.

「カルダー そよぐ、感じる、日本」開幕

#ペースギャラリー との共催のもと、麻布台ヒルズギャラリーで開幕する野心的な展覧会「カルダー そよぐ、感じる、日本」は、東京で35年ぶりとなるアレクサンダー・カルダーの個展です。アレクサンダー・カルダーが1930年代から70年代にかけて制作した100点余りの作品が登場し、アメリカのモダンアートを代表するカルダーが日本の伝統や美学に寄せた深い関心を跡付けています。

厳選された新作絵画とドローイングを通して、さまざまなジャンルの映画に見られるインティマシーの心
理的次元を探求するものです。描かれたシーンには、ときに艶めかしい柔らかさ、またときには性的関係の余韻の瞬間が捉えられています。いずれも、執着的な関係を形成する支配・逸脱・服従の力学を探りながら、内在す
る性的主体性の曖昧さをも描いています。

From Thursday May 9th, Tokyo will hold solo exhibition “Undying”.

Through various paintings and drawings, “Undying” explores the psychological dimensions of intimacy across multiple film genres.

Scenes depicted sometimes captures the softness of sensuality, and other times, the lingering moments of sexual intimacy. Each work explores the dynamics of dominance, transgression, and submission shaping obsessive relationships, while illustrating the inherent ambiguity of sexual agency.

Fujingaho May Issue 2024 features leading 91 year old Japanese photographer Kawada, whose poetic style and symbolic nature has continued to define Japan’s unique post-war photography culture over the past half a century.

His piece “Los Caprichos” (1970) depicts Japanese society as it was struggling with demons of its own age, alongside landmark pieces from “Chi” and “Last Cosmology” featuring in this year’s Kyotographie International Photography Festival 2024.

Today, Kawada continues to upload on Instagram, most of his works focusing on cityscapes, from Lucky Strike ci******es to street art in the contemporary Japanese urban landscape.

Perrotin is back at Art Fair Tokyo with a solo presentation by Nick Doyle, find us at Booth S023 until March 10.

In his latest series of works, explores themes of greed, excess, and toxic masculinity through captivating sculptural wall pieces crafted from collaged denim. Each artwork serves as a poignant reflection on the complexities of contemporary American identity, inviting viewers to contemplate their place within the intricate fabric of society.

In conjunction with this solo presentation, Doyle presents his exhibition ‘American Blues’ at Perrotin Tokyo, on view through April 27.

「文部科学大臣賞受賞」

この度、KYOTOGRAPHIE 京都国際写真祭の共同創設者・共同代表のルシール・レイボーズと仲西祐介に、芸術各分野において毎年優れた業績をあげた者、又はその業績によってそれぞれの部門に新生面を開いた者を選奨する「令和5年度（第74回）芸術選奨文部科学大臣賞」が贈られました。

贈賞理由 : 東日本大震災後に東京から京都に居を移し、わずか2年で「KYOTOGRAPHIE京都国際写真祭」を創設。国内外から多数の写真家を招聘（しょうへい）し、10年の間に世界有数の写真祭に育て上げた。2023年には、音楽フェスティバル「KYOTOPHONIE」も開催。二人の関わりが深いフランス、アフリカ諸国、ブラジルなどの表現者を日本に紹介したことは、特に意義深い。活動拠点を京都市内の出町桝形（ますがた）商店街に置き、地元コミュニティーとの交流も積極的に行っている。

2013年に京都でインディペンデントのアートフェスティバルを立ち上げ、パンデミックの間も何とか継続して毎年開催を続け、今年の春で第12回を迎えます。

今回の受賞はこれまでご支援ご協力をいただいた皆さまと、協働してくれたスタッフ、そして観に来ていただいた観客の皆さまのお陰と大変感謝しております。

まもなく4月13日にKYOTOGRAPHIE / KYOTOPHONIE 2024が開幕します。
皆さまと一緒にこのフェスティバルという旅を続けていくことを楽しみにしています。

After the Great East earthquake Lucille and Yusuke moved to Kyoto to establish KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival and the first Borderless Music Festival in 2023, with artists all around the world from Japan, France, Brazil, and Africa.

On April 13th we will open KYOTOGRAPHIE 12th edition and look forward to sharing this journey with you!

Perrotin Tokyo will host a pop-up presentation of Barry McGee artworks and merchandise between December 9th (Saturday) and January 13th (Saturday). The artist produced 21 new drawings for this presentation. Alongside the artworks, T-shirts, zines, books, and water bottles featuring the artist’s work will be made available as more accessible mementos.
