I am new to this type of gouache/ink thing. Useful for coming up with ideas. It seems I did one, then didn’t do another for a few years. I’d like to get better at this. Ok, put down the phone, damnit.

Much shifting and modifying done in the intervening moments between then and now. There is no amoeba, so it’s NOAMOEBA, and there not a damn thing I can do about it.

There was a time in my high school days I would daydream about Porsches, look at auto magazines that featured Porsches, go to Porsche dealerships to photograph Porsches, do the Porsche dance. I don’t do that anymore.

Here let me fix that for you. Ok, that should do it. I don’t think you’ll have any more problems because I spent quality time making sure it will not break again. I wasn’t sure what to do. It was just me and them on the street. I tried to go around, but as I sped up, they sped up. I tried to hang back, but as I slowed down, they slowed down. Finally we arrived home. Do you have the key? It’s your house. We laughed and laughed and laughed.

Heat lamp?! But it’s August, and it’s boiling. I don’t want to stand next to this heat lamp in August, and I don’t want to look at it. I don’t want to think about it, or talk about this operational heat lamp spewing heat and light in the August hot! I am beside myself, and the heat lamp!

She worked at the ad agency in New York City. This was in the late ‘60s, early ‘70s. Her boss was a suave and savvy boss. She had an ample bosom, and it was fine to comment on that back then. Everybody smoked and drank throughout the day. Projects were finished, and one guy hanged himself in the office. The boss remained the boss.

Grilled cheese sandwiches are a staple food in my house. No one likes cheese, or bread, and we eat grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. It’s what’s for dinner. It’s our breakfast.
