Let me introduce to you the Rikugien Gardens, one of the representative daimyo (feudal lord) gardens of the Edo period. It is located right next to Komagome Station on JR Yamanote Line.
Currently, it's adorned with vibrant fresh greenery, creating a breathtaking contrast with the azalea flowers. At the Fukiage Chaya teahouse, you can indulge in matcha tea with traditional Japanese sweets while admiring the beautiful azaleas on Naka-no-shima Island. Why not take a moment to visit and experience this stunning scenery firsthand?

It's held on 17-19 Dec. every year.

[Origin] They think battledore shuttlecocks look like drgonflies. Dragonflies eat bugs. Bugs are simbol of desease. So decorated battledore racket is regarded as a lucky charm for desease prevention.

Nihonbashi Bridge is adorned with bronze statues of the Lion and the Kirin created by the sculptor Osao WATANABE. It is the point from which all distances are measured to the capital.
From Nihonbashi, we can take sightseeing boats visiting Tokyo. In the Nihonbashi River, Kanda River and Sumida River course, we can see very close the stone walls of Edo outer moat and trains. We can have a good view of Tokyo Sky Tree as well.

490 thousand people gathered after 4 years' cancelation and enjoyed the fireworks of the traditional cubes, literally flowers, Saturn, oval rings, cat?, etc.
So touched with lighted mobile phones waved good-bye on both banks after the event.
