"ACCJ Kansai Diversity & Inclusion Summit Series 2023"

The D&I Committee will be hosting the 9th ACCJ Kansai D&I Summit Series–Unleashing the power of Inclusion in October, 2023. We will have a session focusing on Allyship.

In three sessions held over three consecutive weeks, the Summit Series participants will hear inspirational stories from leaders highlighting their learnings and challenges around inclusive leadership and gain practical tips to apply at work through bite-size training modules created for the Summit. We will offer simultaneous E/J interpretation for all sessions so all participants can actively engage in this important topic.

This year we are also planning to offer the participants the chance to network in-person! Each session is unique and we believe the participants will be able to deepen their understanding in developing their inclusive leadership and to create an inclusive environment.

ACCJ Kansai is happy to support this International Women's Day event hosted by Kansai Global Society (non profit group).

--------------------------------------------------------------
Let’s celebrate together an “International Women’s Day with Men” on 3/03 Friday evening in Kobe! KGS (Kansai Global Society) will celebrate this special occasion with Koen (後援) support from local governments, international organizations & Consulate General offices in Kobe, Osaka & Kyoto.
“Gender Equality (SDGs No.5 goal)” is an essential issue today in many countries around the world for sustainable development. British Consul General (lady) & Italian Consul General (gentleman) will be our guest speakers to introduce how it is practiced in their home countries & beyond from their diplomatic points of view. Table discussions will let us think about how the Gender Equality value can be generated & fostered, starting at each home. The “Gender Equality” promotes collaboration for men & women to live happier lives together.
While a war in Europe continues, we’ll support Ukrainian families living in the Kobe areas. A few Ukranian ballerinas will perform for us after dinner to drive further awareness
Advance reservations & bank transfers are requested by 2/18 Saturday. Please contact the KGS office (email: [email protected] Tel: 078-891-8160 Fax: 078-891-8162)
