We have started making 'Tenugui', do you know that?
It's said like Japanese traditional towel, but unlike Western towel, made by more thin cotton cloth and dyed various of Japanese patterns.
It can be used not only for wiping your hands, also for the display of your room, as a placemat, instead of a scarf...it's up to your free ideas!

Autumn wind
Design of peony flower and Bijinga, beautiful woman painting of Ukiyoe. Waka-poetry means that autumn wind blows and quivers Sudare-Japanese bamboo blinds out of mischief, causing me a misunderstanding that my lover comes to see me. Kanji at the right sleeve is 'Autumn wind'.

Snow, Moon and Flowers
'Setsugekka', Snow, Moon and Flowers, is quite popular motif in Japanese art, and meaning the beauty of nature in different seasons of a year. In 'Yukiwa', pattern of snow crystals, the famous Kabuki character 'Kezori' is designed with plum blossoms and the moon. Kanji-poetry says that why do we need to fight in this small, and transient world? We should enjoy the beauty of nature, and everything of life.

Kanji means that 'The dragon flies to the end of the sky riding the clouds, and closes with the sun and the moon, covers the light and the dark, and causes the thunder and the lightning'.
