【✈️Study Abroad Report✈️】
In this video, our 3rd year student, Lilika, who just came back from Emory & Henry College talks about her experiences during her stay there.
1-academic year-study abroad (from 2nd year fall semester to 3rd year spring semester) is required for GLAP students. Students will study abroad in liberal arts colleges/universities outside of Japan, and are expected to learn about different cultures as well as to gain new knowledge and skills.
Our 2nd year students have just left for their destinations this summer, and in-school selection for 1st year students will begin in a few months !
Thank you, Choi-sensei and Marquez-sensei for coming, and we really hope we can stay connected in the future !
Open Campus was held on August 3, and many high school students attended GLAP's information sessions, talk sessions and trial classes. Thank you everyone for coming!

【Open Campus 2024】
Rikkyo University holds its Open Campus starting tomorrow and GLAP has its own program on Saturday, August 3. Some of the programs require reservations so make sure to check the website for Rikkyo Open Campus 2024✨
We can finally unveil the GLAP logo to you ✨
The "G" was designed to represent a migratory bird, as GLAP students spread their wings globally!!
The flock of birds represents the family atmosphere of GLAP.
On the other hand, it is said that many birds form flocks but do not necessarily have a leader. The leader is all the birds in the flock (each GLAP student is a leader).
On July 16th and 19th, there will be two lunchtime events in the Global Lounge to introduce Hong Kong🇭🇰
On the 16th, there will be an introduction of Lingnan University, one of the GLAP's partner schools🤝
Please don't miss this chance to get some information for your study abroad🌟
🍱 Last Friday, GLAP students had an amazing opportunity to connect with international peers from our partner schools! 🌍✨ The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as everyone made new friends and explored study abroad options. ✈️💫
Here are some of the schools that joined us for the lunch session:
🇳🇱 University College Utrecht
🇬🇷 The American College Of Greece
🇺🇸 Randolph Macon College
🇺🇸 UC Santa Cruz
🇺🇸 The University Of Vermont
🇺🇸 Northern Arizona University

At GLAP, every student has the chance to spend a year abroad as part of their studies. We hope this event was informative for our sophomores, who will soon embark on their study abroad adventures, and inspiring for our freshmen, who are just beginning to explore their options.

Happy Valentines Day! ❤️
Love for our friends is within the air in GLAP!
For this Valentines day post, we have gathered pictures from GLAP students cherishing moments with friends on campus and created a 'digital scrapbook' for everyone to see what friendship is like in GLAP!
Students in GLAP get to belong in a diverse community, and love knows no bounds within our community. In GLAP, friendship blossoms, bonds deepen, and hearts unite in a symphony of shared dreams.
Toshi, our current 3rd year in GLAP, went to the University of Lethbridge in Canada for study abroad! 🇨🇦📚✈️
Here are Toshi's experiences abroad:
1. What was your favorite part about study abroad?
- Being able to figure out a huge part of my identity while also simultaneously trying new things
2. What challenges did you face and how were you able to overcome them?
- The biggest challenge I had was figuring out what I wanted to do in the future. I had to think small first, like instead of thinking 10 years into the future I started by wondering which major I was gonna go into.
3. Any advice and recommendations for students who plan to study in Canada?
- Take small steps and have fun!

🎓 Finishing the last page of graduation papers, -- where seniors endured late-night coffee runs, countless edits and the triumph or resilience... Otsukaresama, seniors!!
In our recent graduation paper presentation, we saw many interesting ideas and research findings, as well as how much dedication and hard work from our seniors towards completing their graduation research papers.
In their 4 years of studying in GLAP, the seniors faced and conquered challenges and embraced growth.
Our last two pictures in this post show that time when they were only freshmen! Time does fly very fast~~
Otsukaresama everyone, and we wish you a successful journey in life after graduation next month!⭐️

Most importantly, they all look good in their suits👍
10 more days to Christmas! Niiza campus may not be very familiar to GLAP students, but the Christmas lights there are not to be outdone by those at Ikebukuro⭐️⭐️
