The training highlighted the importance of securing social media accounts using the two step verification feature that protects your accounts from being compromised.

While using your phone, turn on the 'Find My Phone' feature so that in case you lose it, you can remotely wipe your data from another device.

Collaboration of Women in Development - CWID is conducting a 2 days training on Sexual and Gender Based Violence for Diverse Young Women including Women with Disabilities to equip them with adequate knowledge to tackle S/GBV issues.

The diverse young women will play the role of Health Champions, conducting health talks in the different public health facilities across the 6 Sub Counties in Mombasa for a period of 6 months.

participated in the Youth Greening Skills Forum convened by which focused on how the Kenyan youth can have a voice in all development agendas including climate change mitigation. The Chair Coast CSOs gave an overview of the local legal frameworks for the youth.

Today took part in the Rapid Needs for the East African Coastal Corridor Development Road Validation report convened by at Khadija Primary Social Hall attended by the Coast Civil Society for Human Rights led by Coast Lands Non-State Actors(CLNSA). The deliberations were focused on how best members can develop advocacy strategies to address emerging issues related to child labour and child-related Sexual, Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment.

joined the Coast Civil Society Network for Human Rights members in a report dissemination meeting for the just concluded mediation for Lot 1, Mombasa-Mariakani Road Project, convened by the Coast Land, Non–State Actors (CLNSA) at the Castle Royal Hotel in Mvita. The deliberations sought to strengthen advocacy mechanisms on how the community can be educated on the constitutional process of seeking land related grievances and redress mechanisms, making reference to the Land Act of 2012 and article 60, 67 of the Kenyan Constitution.
