I know that you think you know me, but I’m here to tell you that you have no clue...
No clue what I’ve been through.
No clue the fire I’ve walked through.
No clue how strong I am.
So, before you pass judgement on me and assume you know everything about me from a five minute conversation, get to know me.
Try to understand just a little of where I’ve been, who I am and who I’m becoming before you think you know me.
Maybe I’m not the easiest person to get to know- I’ve built some high walls around my heart- but I’m worth every bit of time it will take you to earn my trust.
I have a huge heart and I’m passionate about my choices and my people- when I love, I do it with everything I have.
I don’t do anything halfway and I don’t accept anything less than what I deserve.
Why?
Because I know what I’m worth and I value myself and what I have to offer..
I won’t settle, be okay with disrespect or accept being just another option in your life.
If you want to love me- truly love me- then give me your honest, real and loyal love.
Don’t play games or hold back..I want to know all of you, because that’s the only way this works- all of me and all of you.
There’s going to be both ugly and beautiful parts, but that’s just part of it.
Love isn’t about seeing a perfect person, but accepting an imperfect person perfectly.
So, I know what I want and what I’m good with, so if you want to earn my love, start with the parts that matter most:
My mind, heart and soul.
I’ve paid dearly for early ounce and I own it.
I know who I am and what I want.. and deserve.
