*OVERCOMING DEMONIC THOUGHTS*

The beginning of demonic obsession is when a spirit begins to use your mind, and if you do not have the capacity to discern that there is a spirit that is using your mind then you are already yielding to trespass.

We must also understand the warfare of the mind and how it functions. Your mind is encamped by the violation of the territory of your mind by the devil, this is where the devil begins to think through your thoughts.

I know you, I know you have never been bitter before but I know bitterness from experience, you will notice that when you are bitter, you are actually giving devil access into your mind because those thoughts that midwife your bitterness are actually from the heart of a wicked spirit which wants to make you feel that because someone did something to you, so you have the right to feel bad and bittered.

When you feel very bittered, bear it in mind that a demon is in possession of your mind, they were thinking through your thoughts, and were giving you bitter feelings and if you sit in bitterness for too long, you will even become an agent of murder because you gave your mind to the devil that is why the devil gave you the anointing to partake in demonic activity.

This is a very difficult issue to deal with because the devil has established a strong hold in that faculty that is why we should engage in the warfare of the mind that requires the casting down of imaginations, the casting down of any thoughts or anything that exalt itself against the knowledge of God.

If the devil begins to bring demonic thought, what you must do is to shut it down by talking because, your utterances has more authority than your thinking. That means your words has more authority than your thoughts. When you start talking, you stop thinking, so say what is contrary to what the devil wants you to think if not, demons will overtake your thinking overtake your life.

SCRIPTURE: 1st Corinthians 6:17
"But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit" (kjv)

When someone is born again, he or she is never different from God, he is now one with God, the same spirit with God. The Bible says in 1st John 4:17
"Here is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are we in this world" You are who God is. You are like God in spirit not in flesh because God has no flesh, for God is a Spirit (John 4:24).

In John 15:5, Jesus said, "I am the vine, ye are the branches..." That's a description of oneness; We are one with Christ. The branch is part of the vine. Ephesians 5:30 says "For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones" This is referring to the Church; it means your legs are Jesus' legs, your hands are His hands; your body is the physical extension of Christ in the world

An understanding of this truth will give you a new mindset about who you really are. You couldn't be one with Him and be sickly. You couldn't be one with Him and have failed organs. You couldn't be one with Him and be molested and attacked by demons and witches or wizards. As one with Christ, His life is your life; it is His life in you that perfects you through and through. Through the Spirit you make available to your body the glories if His resurrected body. What can't affect Christ can't affect you.

Christianity is beyond and more than a religion. Christianity is a life, and the mystery of this life is: the one who you worship is in you and you are in him and have become one with him. Now you can better understand when the Bible says, "... Christ in you, the hope of Glory" (Colossians 1:27). Live every day with the consciousness of your oneness with Jesus Christ.
