“I used to read a lot when I was expecting you, “ she said with a smile on her face.

“There used to be an umbrella tree there,” she continued while pointing out to a space in our front yard.

“I would spend my afternoons under that tree reading Bible based literature and sometimes even singing out loud when I felt like it.“

“So are you saying the reading culture can be transferred from mom to child?” I interrupted, I was so curious I couldn't wait for her to finish the story.

“Not really, what I'm saying is that children usually can read what's happening in their environment, even when they're in the womb.”

I have asked myself a million times how these two are related: the environment and habits of an expectant woman and the habits of the child they bear.

Do you people think that when a woman follows a certain routine/ habits while expecting a child, that the child would end up being fond of those habits?

I have always loved reading. Recently I was telling a friend I need to purchase a new study table. She was surprised and asked: “What do you mean a study table? What are you reading, didn't you just graduate?”

For some of us, reading ends when we either graduate high school or college.

I think reading is a culture that should be cultivated into us from infancy. I mean there's so much to learn everyday, and for me learning is a lifelong process, that's why I love books.

What I saw in town today made me cry 😭. So much drama in the streets 😞. This woman randomly started crying after spoting a man with very long beards hapo CBD. She quickly stopped him and asked what his name was. "Jonathan" he said, in confusion not sure why she was crying upon seeing him. Slowly the woman got to the ground and started narrating how she hoped his name was Billy since the man's beards reminded her of her dead goat 🤣🤣🤣

For as long as you can breathe, there's hope. Do not ever second guess yourself.
