How do you maintain stockings?

One way is by keeping the stockings clean.

1. Wash the stockings each day with mild soap and water. Rinse and air dry.

2. If you can, have 2 or more pairs.
Wear 1 pair each day and wash and dry the other pair.

3. Replace your stockings every 3 to 6 months so that they maintain their compression and support.

Don't wear tight stockings.

The pressure caused by very tight stockings can cause minor bruising or skin ulcers, and tightly fitting stockings also can cause dry skin, redness, and itching.
But these are all unlikely when you wear the CORRECT size.

What is the main purpose of compression stockings?

Compression stockings gently squeeze your legs to move blood up your legs.
This helps prevent leg swelling and, to a lesser extent, blood clots.
If you have varicose veins, spider veins, or have just had surgery, your health care provider may prescribe compression stockings.

But compression stockings aren't just to prevent blood clots and reduce swelling.

Some athletes, including
runners
basketball players
triathletes,
swear by compression socks/ stockings.
They wear them to help with exercise recovery and so their muscles won't be as sore or cramp as much.

Stocking Denier, what it really means,

Also called den...

The denier of a stocking represents the amount of transparency a pair of tights will have, which is directly related to its thickness.

The higher the number, the thicker and more opaque the tights.

The lower the denier, the thinner and more sheer the tights will be.

NB: Even though Rynn stockings offers stockings of the best quality, higher denier and thus more opaque pairs of tights are more durable than more sheer ones.

1. Consider the thickness

If they’re thicker, they’re stronger, but they show less leg.

Choose thicker stockings to reduce the volume of your legs or disguise imperfections.

Understand deniers so you are able to correctly choose your ideal pair.

2. Consider the colour.

Natural
There are almost as many tones as there are skin colours.

Enhance your skin’s natural colour.

Reach for them in warmer is seasons or when you have a wedding or an event.

Choose a tone that’s slightly darker than your skin.

Colour:
Black is most common.
But colours like marine blue, burgundy or green also look great.

Feel free to combine skirts and dresses thanks to the different colours.

Choose dark colours to sharpen and light colours to visually enlarge the legs.

3. Prints or patterned

There are a variety of prints (moles, stripes, flowers).

Choose bigger prints to bring more volume and adventure to the legs.

there's a difference between fishnet and fencenet?

Fishnet- stocking type with a diamond shaped open knit resembling the pattern of an actual fish net.

Fencenet- similar to fishnets but the pattern is wider. Sometimes worn over other stockings.

Wear stockings that are appropriate for the season.

1. First there are no rules as to what color stockings you should wear. Do you always!

But,darker colors tend to look better on a cold season or cold areas.
Light or bright colors tend to look good on sunny or hot days.

2. Dark colored stockings are too warm during the hot seasons because they absorb so much heat. This causes a lot of itching because of a lot of sweating and friction between the thighs especially when moving around.

3. Bright colors reflect light,so don't worry about sweating.
4.Sheer stockings are also super handy during the hot seasons because of their lightweight .
You will still maintain your classy looks while still being comfortable.

Remember..
When choosing light colors,always choose something close to your skin tone.
