A spot check on the Machinery-Kyumani road in Masongaleni, grading and murraming work is ongoing, and I'm pleased with the progress.
Road connectivity is vital for mobility and trade, especially for our grassroots bodaboda economy.
As a representative of the people, there comes a time when you must exercise the power they have entrusted to you as they have instructed.
Regarding the finance bill, I voted No! My constituents asked me to reject it, and I did so, honoring the wishes of my people and my party.
God be with us all.
As a legislator and resident of Kibwezi, I am deeply shocked and saddened by the news of Hon. Magdalene Kamene Kalembe's passing. This loss is truly heartbreaking.
To my neighbors in Mbui-Nzau, Kibwezi West, we share in your pain. My heartfelt condolences go out especially to the children of Hon. Kalembe and Hon. Kamene during this difficult time.
I pray that the Almighty embraces her soul for eternity and provides you with comfort and strength.
Roads are essential for mobility and trade. My team is currently stationed at Thange Ward to open up the areas served by the Kyaani to Kikunduku road through modern-day murraming.
I'm focused on opening up a vast land area to facilitate easy interconnectivity and trade for my people, thereby boosting our grassroots economy.
Ivoleni Primary is the next recipient of a standardized football pitch and its accompanying amenities.
Bush clearing, done. Digging and loosening soil in preparation for compacting, done. Aligning GPS coordinates and site measurement, done! So far, I am pleased with the progress.
I have asked the engineer and the team to expedite the process, the pupils and youth at Ivoleni can't wait any longer. Equally, I am eager to help nurture and incubate sporting talents in Kibwezi East.
I have noted with concern the many back-and-forths regarding the minor who passed away earlier last week, allegedly in a Kambu police cell, as reported by the mother.
Let me be clear: life is sacred, and we all have a right to it. I expect a thorough investigation with no stone left unturned.
I urge IPOA, the DCI, human rights organizations, the media, and all other concerned agencies to act swiftly and resolve this matter promptly.

Today at Kambu, we celebrated our first Madaraka as an autonomous subcounty. I have asked the security apparatus to expedite the investigation into the unexplained death of an infant in police custody to ensure timely justice.
I will also collaborate with the CS of Tourism and Wildlife Services to address the issue of animals within Tsavo Conservancy, preventing further human-wildlife conflicts.
Additionally, I am reviewing my bursary fund to support more students from humble backgrounds.
Working together, we are poised to make significant strides toward prosperity.
God bless the people of Kibwezi East.
Happy Madaraka Day!
Let us cherish our past and inspire our future.

To achieve meaningful development in Kibwezi East, I must prioritize security to protect my community. My office will continue to support our uniformed men and women by ensuring they have a dignified workspace.
EPL prediction: Will it be Arsenal or Manchester City?
Share your predictions, let us see who's right after the final whistle.
Today is Arsenal's last matchday of the season, and I wish them a win. More importantly, they have a realistic chance of securing a trophy.
I hope that one day, a locally nurtured talent from Kibwezi East or elsewhere in the country will join the ranks of top-flight football in the EPL.
This evening at Old Trafford, both teams face a make-or-break showdown;
Arsenal VS Manchester United
Gani kali kati ya Man'U na Arsenali?
Happy Mother's Day to you all
On this day, May 10, Kenya's National Tree Growing Day, I'm representing Kenya and the National Parliament at the UN Forum on Forests in New York.
The focus is on forest sustainability, wetland management, conservation, plantation development, and combating climate change.
Excited to bring back knowledge on greening and advocacy for climate change action.
May 10, we mark Kenya's National Tree Growing Day by joining in the planting of trees in our homes and public utilities.
By doing so, we help in combating climate change and prevent devastating disasters such as floods.
Education is humanity's most powerful equalizer.
In leading the way in transitioning students from primary to secondary education, my 400-occupancy model hostel has been crucial in facilitating this shift from primary schools.
My long-term vision is to establish such hostels in every Kibwezi East secondary school, ensuring a seamless absorption process for students.
Another milestone for women has been achieved as Major-General Fatuma Gaiti Ahmed breaks barriers, making history as the Kenyan Air Force's first female commander.
Congratulations to Major General Fatuma!
On this Labour Day, we celebrate the contributions of every worker in Kenya, from the fields to the offices, you make our country proud.
Happy Labour Day to you all.
I plead with students to enroll in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
STEM enrollment is crucial in our science and tech-driven world, fostering self-reliance and skills for self-employment.
I am fully committed to promoting STEM education in Kibwezi East by establishing science laboratories in Masaku Ndogo, Muthingiini Girls, Kyumani, and Canaan Secondary Schools.
Mortar and brick are complete, and we are now focusing on knitting together the finer details for world-class labs.
Each school deserves a lab, and I am confident, gradually, it will happen in all schools in Kibwezi East.
Maoni Fupi Fupi Wana Arsenal
It's about to go down at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium: Arsenal vs. Tottenham.
Fingers crossed!
Wishing you all a blessed Sunday and a week ahead filled with God's blessings and fulfillment.
I am extremely perturbed by the tragic drowning of young men and women aboard a truck-trailer at the Muatineni river along Sultan-Kasikeu road, precisely at Muswii drift.
We must urgently address this disastrous trend of crossing swollen rivers, whether on foot or in vehicles; it's a reckless disregard for life.
The government must quickly condemn this behavior and deploy enforcement measures to prevent locals from risking their lives in such a manner.
Every life lost is a huge tragedy that could have been avoided.

Today, we go for the HIGH-FIVE greeting: first, to celebrate Arsenal's win; and second, to signify our safety from the harsh rains.
HIGH - FIVE to you all🖐️
Leo Ndio Hile Siku!
It's a London derby. Who will blink first: Chelsea or Arsenal?
There's no greater gift to God and people than constructing places of worship, as the Bible says, "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." - Galatians 6:9.
I extend my gratitude to the Catholic clergy, parishioners, and faithful of the Catholic Church in Kinyambu for graciously opening their doors to my family and myself, allowing us to contribute to the construction of God's house yesterday.
Wishing you all a blessed week ahead.
Congratulations to the lesser-known and newest London Marathon champion of 2024, Kenya's Alexander Mutiso Munyao.
In his debut at both the London Marathon and the World Marathon Majors, Munyao secured a significant career triumph, crossing the finish line in two hours, four minutes, and one second, surpassing big names like Ethiopia's Kenenisa Bekele, who finished a distant second.
Hailing from Makueni, we take immense pride in Munyao's achievement.
