From the Wild Basil Chicken to the Maasai Mara Wild Mint Lamb Chops, every dish was a taste of pure adventure. Thank you to our head chef Bonny for crafting such culinary magic sourced from their organic garden. We loved having you and your family join us for your first safari and hope to have you back soon!

Update from Cottar’s Safaris on the flooding in KenyaOur hearts go out to our friends and colleagues in the camps and lodges that have been badly affected by the floods. Fortunately, we are safe at Cottar’s 1920s Camp and Cottar’s Bush Villa, being on higher ground, and we are closed for annual building renovations and on track to open in the coming weeks. We would like to say a big Thank You to the amazing people that have helped to-date. Our amazing team at camp led by Tanya Leakey who are continuing to tirelessly work and prepare the camp and key infrastructure for the upcoming migration season. We are blessed with the nicest, kindest, most resourceful and generous team in the Mara. They are our heroes!! Thank you! We also need to shout out to Bridging the Gap for the essential footbridge; Scenic Air for agreeing to fly in emergency food supplies, Keekorok Lodge for allowing us to borrow some freezer space, and Narok County Council for allowing us to store other items on the other side of the Sand River. A special mention also to the team at Mara Elephant Project who have been literally selfless lifesavers to so many with their chopper. Thank You.
