Fun fact: the adult elephant's p***s is the largest p***s of any land animal at an average of 6 ft in length.

The elephant’s p***s is not only massive but prehensile.

The elephant p***s is so huge that males can rest on it like it's a leg.

There’s good reason for elephants to have prehensile p***ses. It’s hard enough for a six-tonne animal to get into the right position for s*x, let alone having to do the rhythmic thrusting that’s required. So he let’s his p***s do all the work for him.

Remember "Elephants cannot be manufactured. Once they’re gone, they cannot be replaced.”

Five brave cheetahs immortalized in a photo by Buddhilini de Soyza, battling a furious current in the Talek River, Kenya.

In 2019, relentless rains brought the worst floods the local elders could remember. Dilini, a witness, nervously watched as the cheetah coalition attempted to cross the river. Despite the danger of lurking crocodiles and threatening currents, the cheetahs persisted and successfully made it across.

This group, known as Tano Bora or the "magnificent five," has gained worldwide fame for its courage and unity. But as the climate changes, they will face more challenges. Their story is a poignant reminder of the courage and determination of wildlife amid adversity.

Lake Magado Kenya 🇰🇪

Lake Magado which is located at the bottom of Magado Crater in Igembe, Meru county is the only multi-coloured lake in Kenya.
The lake is made up of orange, red, purple and green puddles which are separated by salt moulds. Locals regularly go there to collect soda.
It has different hues (colours) due to the alkaline nature of the water and this makes the area have an acrid smell.
The source of the unique colour combinations is thought to be openings in the earth’s crusts which are known as fumaroles.
The colour changes as a result of chemical reactions resulting from the minerals contained in the lake - perhaps triggered by volcano gas activity.
According to scientists, it is however more accurate to refer to the colours as being driven by oxidation-reduction chemical dynamics. Muguna R

Kitili the lion of NNP is no more.

One of the legends of Nairobi park known as Kitili, was found dead after a fight with other lions.

Born in Kingfisher pride 9 years ago, he lost his left eye at an early age. Kitili is son of the famous Mohawk who fell victim to human - wildlife conflict. Kitili, a king who ruled Athi pride for many years, spread his lineage, secured his territory to his last breath, and died as a warrior.

Kitili the lion and many others who make Nairobi National Park that special place.

Farewell Kitili 🙏🏼. You will be missed .
