I am in charge of customer service and international sales for Ecosandals. I have never really used a computer before joining Ecosandals. It is really exciting for me to interact with our customers from all over the world. I am now building an online marketing team from young adults who have never before used computers. The footwear we make at Ecosandals needs to be strong enough for the harsh conditions here in Kenya. I live in the Korotocho slums, and my footwear must be extra tough for this environment. We feel that if the footwear we make can survive this place, there is nowhere in the world it cannot handle. My name is Michael Karuri, and I am an Ecosandals owner.
