According to eyewitnesses, Kipsang collapsed in the final stages of a race he was leading after suffering a heart attack. "Stop Building Churches And Giving Tithes" A Famous Kikuyu Preacher Says



In an interview that a famous kikuyu female preacher was at Baruthi Wa Thayu Tv, this Preacher called Agnes asked people to stop giving tithes to churches or giving them to pastors, she also urged people to stop building churches.

Agnes said that the true church is ones heart but not the buildings that people builds saying that they are house of God. He said that instead of building a big church saying that it is the house of God, it is better to build a house for a homeless person.

She said that God lives in heaven and not in the churches and thus no need of building a house for Him. She said that Jesus did not advocate for church building but he asked people to do charity work.

She also said that there is no need of giving tithes to pastors in the name of giving God, she said that instead of taking that tithe or offerings to pastors, it is better you give them to the needy people.

"Stop building churches and giving tithes, all these do not make God happy, what makes God happy is helping others. God does not need a house to live so stop building a house for him, instead build a house for a homeless person, instead of giving tithes to your pastor, help a needy person with that money instead" she said.
