“Good afternoon sir.” I greeted my dad.


“Elizabeth! How are you doing?” He asked

“I’m fine dad?” I replied and watched him sit.

“So…erm…tell me, how is Mr Ashley Romeo?” My dad asked to my surprise.

“Dad! This is someone that kidnapped me.” I let him know but he giggled instead.

“Aren’t you suppose to say someone that saved you from poverty. If he kidnap you, how did you escape, then?” He asked.

“I broke doors, I find my way out dad.” I replied and he scoffed.

“If he doesn’t want you to see the light of the day , there is no way you would.” He replied.

I turned to my mom.

“I just told her that Mr. Ashley Romeo came to ask of her hand in marriage.” My mom informed my dad.

“And is she ready to leave for his house already?” My dad asked as if I was not there sitted.

“She still seems to be surprise, maybe we should give her time?” My mom replied my dad.

My dad grinned. “There is no time woman, speak to your daughter. Debtors are after me, I need to pay them and I need to start my transport business. Unless you want those I owe to come here one day and pack all what we have so they can have it as collateral.” My dad said.

“I’m not going back to Mr. Ashley Romeo, he’s weird and…I’m not even ready to marry for all I know. ” I told them.

“You have no choice.” My mom and dad said in unison.


“I do, I will rather work my @–ss off to pay your debt than allow one rich man buy me from you.” I said and stood.

I was stunned to see Mr. Ashley Romeo. The same man that I had slapped.


My days! I’m very sure he will command his men to beat me blue back.

I looked around as my heart beats nervously, I was looking for how to escape but with the way the house is built , it seems impossible to escape.

“I only helped you cause your men told me to, is this how you will pay me back? You could have been disgraced right in front of everyone.” I said and he signalled for the man that had kidnapped me to come to him.

He whispered words to the man and the man came to me.

“Follow me.” The man said.

“Huh? To where again?” I asked.

The man brought out his scary object again and I quickly obliged. I followed the man gently and on getting to a room, he said; “this will be your room.”

He turned to leave but I yelled on him saying; “Did I tell you I need a room? Oh! He wants to come and sleep with me, right? Is this an h-otel or something? ”

The man never responded, he simply walked away and finally faded out of sight.

What nonsense is this? Why in the world do I have to feel like easing myself?

Why do I have to look like Mr Ashley Romeo’s bride?

Gosh! I’m so angry right now. Today is such an unlucky day for me.

I turned to the room and frustratingly pushed the door open. I barged in and the look of the room looked so beautiful and adorable.
My mouth dropped at its beauty. Every single thing in that room was made with gold.

I settled on the bed and wondered when they will tell me to leave.

Programme went after programmes and I acted well like I was the real bride. He hasn’t said any word to me ever since I kissed him.

I knew him to be popular and rich and I understand that rich men can be wicked atimes, I do not want to be a victim.


I’m only trying to help. I had already planned how I will run away.

It was finally time for both families to take pictures, the families of wife approached me while I simply lowered my head like I’m shy.

They must not know that I’m not their daughter.

A man I assumed it be the real bride’s daughter pressed his eye on me. I was beginning to feel uncomfortable.

Has this man find out already that I’m not his daughter.

Mr. Ashley Romeo held my hand and dragged me a little to the sit where pictures would be taken but the man’s eye were still fixed on me.

He finally walked to me and my mind began to beat.

“Face here and smile!” The camera man said and I faked a smile as I poses for the camera.

After the first shot, the man came to me and said; “Ella, are you alright?”

I simply nodded my head not wanting to look at his face.

He took steps back because of the crowds that were there and kept observing me.

After pictures were taken, it was time for everyone to go home.

I walked inside the room that Mr. Ashley Romeo is. I was indeed nervous.


“Ella, what took you so long.” His voice came through and I turned my head wondering if he was not informed that his bride won’t be coming.

“Hey! I’m not Ella.” I said in my mind but I couldn’t mutter the statement out.

He didn’t even look at my face, he just held my hand and at the sound of the MC , we walked before the crowd.

I had been dressed in a beautiful bridal gown by his men.

On getting to the stage, we went to sit at the little house always built for couple in marriage.

After series of events, we were called out to stand before each other before everyone.

“Mr. Romeo, do you agree to take Miss Ella as your wife?” The man asked.

“Certainly.”

“You can now kiss your bride.” The man said and Mr. Ashley Romeo unveiled me and expressed shock.

“Huh? Is this Ella?” He asked seemingly confused.

I shook my head.

“Your wife ran away and I was asked to represent her so you won’t be brought to shame.” I explained in a whisper.

“What! How can I kiss a stranger? ” He exclaimed.


“We are waiting Mr Romeo, don’t be shy.” The MC said.

Mr. Romeo looked around and saw that all the crowds attention were on him.

I sat along with many crowds in one of the most popular wedding in town.


Mr Ashley Romeo is the young business tycoon getting wedded today.

Who doesn’t know him? He’s every lady’s crush cause of how spectacularly handsome he looks.

“His wife must be lucky” I thought.

I started feeling like easing myself and I excused myself from the crowd to the bathroom.

On getting to the bathroom, some men bundled me all of a sudden with my mouth covered.

I was surprised they carried me into the chamber that the couples are supposed to be.

“What am I doing here? Why did you bring me here?” I asked after they had dropped me in the beautiful chamber.

“We are so sorry but we are indeed fortunate to see you.” One of the men that bundled me said.

“What are you talking about?” I asked angrily.

“Don’t you see the couple are not at the stage yet?” Another man asked.

“And what is my business with that?”

“The bride called that she had followed a man she truly love to Italy, please act as Mr Ashley Romeo’s bride for today, please.” One of men said and my mouth dropped.

“The bride has ran away?” I asked and they all nodded.

This would be a big shame for Mr Ashley Romeo considering how reputable he is in the society and the number of people gathered for his glorious wedding.

“Why did you choose me, then?” I asked.


“Well…you look identical with the bride…it’s time now, please do this for him.” One of the men pleaded.
“Fine…where is Mr Ashley Young?” I asked nervously.

I never knew a day would come in my life when I would ever meet that popular man.

I encourage everyone to go for this Hustler Fund. It means good for the citizens for it is literally a token of appreciation from a Hustler who wants to dish out state resources without breaking the law .

Hustler fund is simply a state-run fuliza, president William Ruto is on competition with what he referred to as dynasties who have heavily invested in Safaricom and related banks.

The Hustlers fund has got nothing to do with giving Kenyans the opportunity to start small businesses. Which business can one start with this 500KSh? Ruto anawapatia cake ya UHURU na amushikanishi .

WHY I AM RIGHT;

1. I do not see how the Government will recover money from defaulters.

2. I do not see where those who will default will be jailed, defaulters can't fit in our prisons. The carrying capacity of all our prisons is barely 50k.

3. The Government has no muscle power to sustain the Hustlers fund. In the six months ended June 2022, Kenyans borrowed a total of Ksh288 billion through Safaricom's overdraft service Fuliza. This is Ksh48B every month. Hustler Fund has Ksh50B. Hii naona tukikopa yote in two weeks.

4. Ruto is very sharp, apart from netting money through NSSF and NHIF courtesy of the Hustlers fund, Treasury under president William Ruto is already saving 9.4billion from scrapped subsidy.

5. Ukiomba Fuliza ya Hustler Fund, hakuna reverse gear. This is designed to be unpopular and consequently die a natural death after what it is designed to do, enriching the Hustler.

MY PREDICTIONS;

1. Ruto will waive pending hustler bills as part of his 2027 re- election campaign.

2. Ruto's opponent will in his/her campaign promise to waive Hustlers fund loans and pardon defaulters.

3. The Government is just a facilitator and the cog that will implement the project Hustlers fund.
