The Rotary District 9212 annual theme for the 2023/2024 year is "We Are One!"
The theme announced by DGE Leonard Ithau embodies the spirit of Rotary, emphasizing the power of togetherness and the strength of collective efforts.
The logo, which features a circle surrounded by the colors of the flags of the four countries represented in the district, represents the idea of a circle expanding forever, covering all who wish to hold hands, and interacting with the outside world while also practicing self-improvement.
The circle is a symbol of cooperation, mutuality, and care, and it grows as each member is moved to grow.
As Rotarians, we are united behind a common goal, serving above self and striving to create bigger, more impactful projects that make a lasting impact in our communities.
Together, As One, we can achieve great things!
Join us this Friday as we endeavor to help adolescent and teenage girls from Chania Primary School to never miss a class due to lack of sanitary towels.
We plan to donate pads, tissue and hand-wash, as well as mentor them on how to navigate changes that come with adolescence.
You can send your contribution to Beatrice Kagonia via 0740035311🤗😊
"I am gentle enough to soothe your skin😌, light enough to fly in the sky🪂, strong enough to crack rocks🪨. What am I?"

"A woman has a gift that is not known among men, and this is the secret of blood. To men, this is flux and distemper, bother, and pain. They imagine we suffer and consider themselves lucky. We do not disabuse them.
In the red tent, the truth is known. In the red tent, women give thanks — for repose and restoration, for the knowledge that life comes from between our legs, and that life costs blood."
Poetry aside, you cannot afford to miss our Menstrual Health discussion this Wednesday at the Great White Rhino Hotel🤗. Our speaker for the day, our very own Rotaractor Winnie Njeri is a gender and disability mainstreaming officer, a feminist, a trained peer counselor & certified professional mediator, a YALI alumni, an Alcohol and Drug Abuse peer educator, and an avid reader of African literature.
We will also be holding a pads funds drive for teen girls at Chania primary.
