Which curtain width is ideal?

This is a crucial question every homeowner looking forward to furnish their living space needs to ask themselves. But it's a simple as we explain below:

The width of your curtains and sheers depends on the width of the mouldry of your door or window pane.
All you need to do is measure your window or door frame and multiply this by a factor of 2/2.5.
Its the reason we always ask our customers to give us their window/door width and if its 1m, we design and make a curtain 2 or 2.5 metres wide.
The extra fabric or curtain material helps give a gathered look on sides especially when you draw the curtains back

NB//: The wider the curtains the more elegant it looks as it forms more and more gathers...

CURTAIN IDEAS...2- COLOR:
The color your choose for your window and door curtains should sync with other furnishings in your living space.
For a pleasing look go for colors that complement the shades of your wall and furnishings...If you want them to be the focus, go for a color that contrasts the walls and furnishings

ADVICE//: If You have packed your room with soft furnishings purely of solid colors, go with printed curtain designs..The vice versa applies too...Besides, printed throw pillows or cushions are a favorable choice.

CURTAIN TIPS: 1️⃣-FABRIC
The first thing to consider is the curtain fabric you want for your windows and doors..There are light curtain fabric (sheers) and heavier ones..

Nowadays we layer a heavier curtain fabric on top of a sheer...This works well for two purposes:
1. You can stay behind the thicker curtain when you want to maintain privacy. Note that we have black out curtains that block out sunlight and noise for privacy purposes.

2. You can draw the heavy curtain to the sides when the mood lightens and you want some extra natural light (sunlight) in through the sheers

The best fabric is LINEN, SILK, VELVET. This is what Pum curtains and decors offer...Curtains made of this material hang nicely and look elegant...Besides, maintenance is not a problem
IMPORTANT!!!! let nothing press up against these curtains and especially your furniture...They are delicate and can get wrinkled easily or misshapen...

Remember you dont have to use the same curtain throughout the year...During WARMER months, switch to lighter curtains that allow cold air in

On the other hand, use heavier curtains during the COLD season to shield away cold air, leaving your room warmer.
